THUGGIZZLE CARES MISSION: Thuggizzle Cares Inc. advances the well-being of at-risk individuals, couples and families through dedicated support, education, and innovative services.
ABOUT THUGGIZZLE: Thuggizzle Cares is a 501C3 nonprofit organization started by Phillip Hodge, also known as Thuggizzle, an accomplished rapper and entrepreneur born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. Due to a childhood of instability and neglect, Phillip Hodge grew up in and out of foster care, due in part to his mother’s history with drugs. Hodge ultimately aged out of the system without finding a forever family, a painful experience familiar to many placed in the foster care system. Determined to use his experience to help others Hodge started the nonprofit, Thuggizzle Cares. The organization has supported a number of causes since it was first established in 2013, but has since prioritized Family Well-Being, a cause that is especially personal to Hodge.
THE GOAL: Our goal is to improve the overall well-being of vulnerable families. In doing so, we hope to strengthen communities, improve family preservation, and empower parents.
