I am glad C-Webb mentioned Tim Donaghy in there. Shaq shouldn't be complaining about calls he presumably didn't get vs Sacramento, he got more calls than the whole Kings team combined.
It seems widely understood that, maybe absent Wilt, Shaq was the most physically superior player in NBA history. When he was in his prime, he was a phenomenal athlete and he'd nearly rip the basket down every time he got the ball. As much as I appreciate Shaq and his enormous talent, I do think that huge money and fame substantially limited his career dominance. If he would have worked harder on free-trow shooting accuracy and developing a more diverse set of low post shot options, his scoring average would have gone up a lot. If you look at Shaq's frame when he first came into the League and into his prime Laker years vs. his Miami, Phoenix, Boston and Cleveland frame, it's pretty obvious he didn't take great care of his body. As great as he was, I think he could have been considerably better. I think the game might have came too easily for the big fella and he could afford to play on his own terms. Not many players are good enough to basically determine their impact on the game. Shaq took his foot off the gas toward the end of his stint with the Lakers. He's a Hall of Famer with ease and, even if he didn't max out his talent, he certainly did well enough. He's become a really fun media guy on TNT. Long live the "Big Aristotle!"
C-Webb definitely has some deep down resentment towards Shaq....he got robbed of his ring back in 2001-2002 which probably would have made him a HOFer by the Lakers, and now Shaq stole his studio spot this year for TNT.....I feel for my man C-Webb

I got the Nets winning off of Kidds dominance alone. He would've probably had a triple double every game without having to worry about Shaquille in the paint or helping to guard Kobe.
You might be right if you didn't need depth. Kings were a much deeper team than the Nets that year. Best sixth man in the league in Jackson, even had Hedo on the bench, Clark among others. Wasn't even close when you compare the talent
+Tone7580 the fuck? Christie's got a physical body, that's why he was considered a great defensive player. Underestimating Divac?! Man, do you even know basketball?!?!
