3:57 This. I also live alone and enjoy it most days. I miss my dog sometimes. She died in July. She was a rescue, a Japanese Spitz and Pom mix, from Korea. I work remotely for a dog rescue that brings dogs from Korea to the US where the adoption rate is much higher than in Korea. Anywho, I was just gonna say that while I enjoy my quiet, peaceful life, many times I wonder what is the point of life. I still haven’t found the meaning. Is it to break free from a cycle of suffering by reaching enlightenment? But, even this seems pointless. I feel if only I can get an answer I could live life to its fullest.

But maybe the meaning of life is not necessarily to arrive at a single answer, but to live each day with that question in mind. And the bonds we form with our beloved dogs and the things we build through rescue work are also important pieces of our lives.
