@@layz_gaming_4275 thank you, jimbo is good in his own right, the only reason he plays like that was because he had the control, he still has the chops and can play like sasaki, but was chosen by Issei Noro to control for smoother playing
@@domsayerr Jimbo has more skill and talent than I will ever have but his playing is so bland, I don't think he could ever play like Sasaki - definitely brought in just to keep it simple and not chaotic.
@@DavidB-rx3km It wasn't entirely Jimbo's fault, if you checked how he played Black Joke or Midnight Rendezvous back in the early 80's when he recently joined the band, he was definitely more like Sasaki, just way more cleaner than Sasaki's sloppy chops, but later in the years, Noro took more derivative since I guess it is HIS band and wanted a more soft pop sound, but when Jimbo joined back in Casiopea during the late 90's and early 2000's his sound was more expressive, explosive and had a much more chaotic sound, but guess what, that is Akira's sound, not Takashi... but I don't like how he butchered the Best Hit Medley in 1983 at Budokan...

No disrespect to my boy Akira Jimbo, but his only sin is butchering Time Limit for me imo.
