A lot of italian youngsters to choose from for the Italian senior team, but I didn't see a young prop like Gallorini since the times of Castrogiovanni. FIVE tries, a total scrum domination and it's also underage. What a beast 😮

Capuozzo plays on the wing in Toulouse. Not all the time, but often enough. Look at yesterday, Capuozzo was out. It would have been nice to have an adequate replacement. I like Allan, but i do not like him at 15.
And if I do remember correctly, Lamaro used to play at No. 8 too. I think it is rather great that Italy will have some depth.
@@ghostmail8052 i get moving capuozzo to the wing because bruno is just not it but moving lamaro to 8 is not the move. cannone is great plus halafihi to come back it’s exciting to see the level that italy have
@glen5861 All I said was that Lamaro can play No. 8 too, as he has. In fact, he can play all three back row positions. But you are right, Cannone is doing a great job at No. 8. All in all, it's a good problem to have, though. I also hope that Ferrari starts playing at the senior level, the way he played at last year's U20 6N.

Mey e gallorini hanno la mentalità giusta e giocano bene. Li vedremo in futuro. Sicuramente non ha quei talenti della scorsa u20 ma nel complesso hanno una buona mentalità. Senza dimenticare che sono arrivati terzi.

Scotland may currently be fifth in World Rankings compared to Italy... but on this evidence the Azzuri looks to have a more promising few years to come.

@@portorportor8247 The Scottish model now seems to be to get players from other countries for senior level. Not trying to be offensive, but that is what they are doing. Mainly English players who go through the age grades there then jump to Scotland at age 20-24, some Irish and some South Africans. So the senior side is still competitive. As football has declined over the decades in Scotland, I honestly don't see why they don't invest in rugby like Ireland has. They have a big enough population to become more competitive tbh.

The referees reaction is NOT to penalise the CHEATING Scots but to tell the Italians to play it (with NO Advantage)
So when did the rules change to allow Scotland (or any other scrum under pressure) collapse at will?
There are no 'rules' in rugby union - they are laws.
Law 19, section 25 states the following: 'If a scrum collapses or if a player in the scrum is lifted or is forced upwards out of the scrum, the referee must blow the whistle immediately so that players stop pushing.' There is no sanction attached to this.
Law 19, section 37 does impose a sanction (in this case a penalty) if dangerous play occurs including (sub-section d) 'Intentionally collapsing a scrum.'
If you actually watch the scrum closely, at 02:46 the Scottish loosehead's elbow goes down first - he does not 'go straight to his knees' as you claim. Unless the referee considered this an intentional collapse there should be no sanction and, in fact, he lets play continue rather than resetting the scrum as the ball is already at the Italian No.8's feet.
Further, at 02:41 the Italian scrum half feeds the ball directly into his second row which is contrary to Law 19, section 15(f) and should have been penalised by a free-kick. I also didn't see any strike by the Italian hooker (Law 19, section 22 - again a free-kick).
I suggest you go and actually read the laws before you come out with comments that merely show your own ignorance...

If I remember correctly, he came from the side or even the Scottish side and ripped the ball while rolling to the Italian side of the ruck. At minimum, it was pretty stupid.
He wore an Italian jersey and the referee was playing for Scotland...
