Chris Stapleton! Damn he is amazing. I went and saw him at the gallot music festival and only 100 people showed up. Chris and Morgan put on an amazing show with many encore songs. I was in pure heaven for 2 hours. I was shaking, literally shaking that I got to shake this mans hand after the show. He stuck around and signed every autograph and signed my marine corps 8 point cover because that was the day I got out. Not enough words in the world to say how happy I was that day.
This made me smile. My grandmas name was Elvira. She always said the Oakridge Boys wrote this song about her. My grandpa would just shake his head and grin... Miss them.

I don't even like mainstream country music but these people sound really fucking good. This is the kind of deep county soul music I actually listen to and enjoy.

Todd Taylor i just very luckily stumbled across him today, i dont know if he was trying to get famous from the start, he wrote and co wrote a shit load of songs, from southern rock to an Adele song, he could have just as easily kept them to himself, because he would rock any song he wanted, must have been a choice.
Because the music industry is diluted with garbage these days, and it's nearly impossible for a true talented voice to shine. Probably doesn't help that he spent many years writing music for big stars and sitting in the background, happily.
