Solo bushcraft trip, carving wooden gas canister stand, hot tent, wood stove

- On this trip I go to the mountain and find a beautiful spot among the fir trees, pitch my tent, chop wood for the stove, eat a quick meal, enjoy the warmth of the stove and sleep.
The other day I cut wood and support the front part of the tent and set up as a porch roof.
I carve a wooden gas canister stand for better support.
I made a hot coffee and enjoyed it in the beautiful landscape...

Sotirus👍👍 Great camp to say goodbye to 2022 and hello to 2023, what a nice place you found there. That is one huge pack, you could carry enough for a week in the wild if desired. Very roomy tent and warm too with the wood stove, I could stay there for days. SOTO cook set is marvelous, adaptable utility and the canister stand a worthy project. A lot of work for just one nights stay but so worth it, thanks for bringing us along. Happy New Year, hope to see more of your excellent videos, always enjoyed.

A tent with a vestibule. I did that one winter at Itasca State Park. We had 2 Eureka 4 man tents front doors facing each other with a vestibule to cover both openings. It was warm and cozy the 4 of us smoking and having a good time. Trail mix for food and coffee ☕️ on a gas stove like that. 👍

Big Hot Tent with lots of options. I have the little Soto Combo cookset and am using it more and more because of its many combined uses. The outer layer to keep your food, and beverages warm is a great idea. Well thought out.

The backpack weighed about 17.5 kg, luckily I didn't hike much, about 2 kilometers. In Greece the weather is very strange for the season, one week it is cold and snowing in the mountains and the next it is hot, strange weather... Thank you very much!
