The split screen with the interview is VERY ANNOYING. Can't see the game or the score very well while that's occurring. If I wanted to watch an interview, I'd go elsewhere. Please stop splitting the screens for other stuff when we're trying to watch THIS game!
Does anyone even see what Duong is doing? Throughout the entire match (but especially in the 2nd game) he's basically just targeting kitchen and transition drives right at the body, neck, shoulders and head of Pisnik and waiting for her to pop up a counter or even miss. It's so successful that he's not even bothered or worried about Bar and he's not worried about just dropping the ball and dinking. It's just hard body shots. He's not even focused on dinking, he's taking what would be dinks and just hitting it as hard as he can at her. He's so focused on this that he's even hitting drives right off the bounce instead of waiting for them to be in the air for a speed up. Just goes to prove that even at the pro level it's hard to counter fast hard pace with placement. The ball might be going out, but you can't get out of the way because it's coming at you so fast. If I were Pisnik / Bar I would have called a timeout and strategized to always switch so Pisnik isn't facing Duong head on, so if he wants to speed up to her, he would need to do so cross court, buying her more time, even if that means that she would be on the left side just because she's getting beat on the right side anyways.
Bright/Duong are so fun to watch!
