Trailmakers is about building very awesome vehicles and machines, but you don’t need an engineering degree to get started. The intuitive builder will get you going in no time. Everything you build is made from physical building blocks. Each block has unique features like shape, weight and functionality. They can be broken off, refitted and used to build something new. Individually the blocks are fairly simple, but combined the possibilities are endless.
Expedition Mode is the challenging campaign mode of Trailmakers. You are competing in an off-world rally expedition with only a few building blocks to get you started. You must build, tinker with and rebuild your machine to progress. Journey through a big world, overcome deep gorges, angry wildlife and dangerous weather to progress and find new parts that will juice up your machine. The world in Expedition Mode will test your survival skills and ingenuity.
Sandbox Mode is where you want to head for an unrestricted, sandbox, vehicle-building experience. Here you can build anything you can dream of, and play around with it in the world of Trailmakers. It is a great place to test out crazy machines, and experiment with the physics engine. With tons of different blocks, hinges, thrusters and interactive vehicle parts - the skybox is the limit.
Trailmakers is even more fun if you play it with other people. Build cool vehicles and compete in mini-game modes with your friends or other Trailmakers online. Build a helicopter, send it to your friend, and shoot them out of the sky. Put two seats on a tank, and let your friend control the turret. As we get further in Early Access development Expedition Mode will also be adapted to multiplayer.

In my opinion, this was the most enjoyable multiplayer episode in a while. Just the sheer chaos makes it so entertaining.

Day 31: Idea for Trailmakers cooperation challenge: two teams of two people each, you build a vehicle for both teams to use. One person from a team controls one half of the vehicle, and the other person controls the other half. Both people have to be pressing the shoot button to shoot. I feel like what would balance the destruction derby is that, once you get a kill, you are able to respawn. That way going after people isn’t just destroying yourself and them, but it’s a reward.

Another regular destruction durby would be great as well. Could do like only hover pads instead of wheels. Curious what a plane destruction durby would be like as well lol.
Also does that king of the hill game mode still exist? Could do destruction durby style with it. Plus you haven't done it with the new guys yet.

Love the dozer.....and also the game of "kick the baby" you guys played with Kan.
I remember I used to love playing kick the baby with my friends, my stupid mom would always yell things like “what the hell are you doing to your little brother” or “you’re disowned, I hope to never see your face again”
This was funny as heck and the fact that kan just came in and threw something together that did really well was cool to see.
I'm sure everyone can agree that even though Yzuei won, kAN is the real MVP of this video & derby

Video Idea: dogfight with ornithopters!
Next update they should add block grouping and damage according to grouping; so instead of taking individual damage, blocks take damage according to total group durability. Maybe a block limit to groups so they don't end up with massively overpowered builds.
I hope kAN will do some crazy logic stuff when the update releases

POLICE CHASE:
1 robber, everyone else as cops. If the cops can get the robber to stay under a speed of 5 for 10 seconds, it triggers an exposition signifying that the robber has been pulled over and arrested.
Naturally, the cops should have a higher max speed than the robber, so speed is the limiting factor for the builds in this challenge. No weapons, the challenge relies simply on collision physics and boxing the robber in. Robber with the longest time wins.
I'd honestly like some more of these destruction derbies. The sheer chaos was hilarious and it would be cool to see what other designs all of you would come up with

I’m not sure how its like in the new update, but I believe in the previous updates, the size of the block wouldn’t affect its durability, and instead its block type would. For example a 4x8 normal block would have the same durability as a 1x2 normal block.

I love that in less than a second of KAN being on screen, he immediately spawns a brick.
Since damage now directly propagates by connection, it seems that minimizing that is the best way to stay alive. Basically having an almost completely disconnected exterior blocks for destroying others while having an interior full of your power cores and wheels is the best way to go about it. Like 4/5 total connections between the body of the car and the chassis would minimize the damage that can propagate to that vital interior area. Which is probably why Scrapman's vehicle, which might have had more total health kept getting destroyed so quickly as everything was connected to each other leading to the damage moving into power cores and wheels much easier compared to for instance Yuzi's.
To be honest, Kan's idea was brilliant

This episode is so chaotic, especially when kAN joins halfway through
You'd have more steering when the front have fallen off if the middle pair of wheels don't steer or have a much shorter steering angle than the back pair. When the back and middle wheels have the same steering angle and the front fall off you don't turn much at all only strafe around diagonally.
I LOVE THESE CASUAL JUST "Well that happened" MULTIPLAYER EPISODES.
Enclosed monowheel race:
The seat assembly ect is held in place with gyros, while the circular outer body spins as a giant monowheel. All weapons, boosters ect must be on the seat assembly.
With the new update, revisiting old challenges like the beyblade and battle bots would be really interesting

You said no weapons, but engines now explode while not technically being weapons. *Can you deal damage to another creation with an engine on a stick?* That might make a good experimentation episode.

Scrapman, you should use Logic Blocks to allow you to reverse the steering of your middle tires on a toggle. So you lose your front wheels, then toggle the tire turning.

I personally would've deactivated the center steering in the first round of adding blocks, because everytime the front end got disconnected all wheels turned into the same direction, making steering almost impossible.

Kan STILL building bricks!!! He's been perfecting the "art of the brick" since long before they even had their emblems put up on the wall of each garage in scrap mechanic multiplayer Monday...I miss y'all's struggle with the old start timer needing every one to hold the button at same time
Quick Tip: in the update testing video, every time the cars went flying you were hitting their weird corners, mostly. Try to utilize that glitchy feature, it could lead to an interesting video.

I feel like the issue was that most of these crashes were cars hitting eachother at like 100mph, i think limiting the speed of each to like 30 would make it more realistic
given the spears on his car, what about a jousting battle? stipulations may include being a dual wheeled vehicle, a hover vehicle, or perhaps just a car with a set height and perhaps dynamite at said height, with a spear attached at about that height as well.
Yeah, battle bots with hammer arms and sword arms and stuff like that.
