So, here’s the thing: the bullies who used to harass others back in middle school are still up to their old tricks, only now the playground has shifted to TikTok. They haven't changed one bit, and you don't need a magnifying glass to find them online, body-shaming someone here, hurling insults at someone else over there, and just being plain mean and unprovoked.

My advice to anyone who is being bullied, the best way to outsmart them is to just ignore them and give them the silent treatment. Bullies want attention and will do anything for it. Don’t give them attention, they’ll just bother you more.
Edit: sorry if it doesn’t work for you I was trying to give my advice on based on my experience. It worked sometimes, sometimes it didn’t, but responding to them got attention to the teachers who gave the same excuse.

i handled bullying in a mixed variety of ways. in elementary AND middle school i used to always keep it to myself because ‘i knew the teachers wouldn’t care’ and whenever i did tell someone i was right all along the teachers did nothing.
however, for high school, more specifically senior year.. that’s when i had enough. i was so done being treated the way i was and having things thrown at me. how am i supposed to ignore that?
so i started lashing out and doing things i never did before. the quiet kid (me) became the class disruption. the good kid was constantly getting in trouble. the kid who never cussed at school used a curse word in every sentence. i thought if i changed my behavior for a cry for help, people would notice something was wrong and help me.
i was wrong. i handled it all by myself. my cries for help almost got me suspended 😂

Im 15 and when I was in 8th grade I got into a lot of fights and said things that I never wanted to say, so I understand where your coming from and yes, even the principal did nothing in my case.

It was bad when I was in HS back in 2004. The kids would give rude stares if someone had bad clothes or were poor. The kids now have absolutely no discipline. I partly blame social media. The kids think they are on the same level as the adults. Which they are not.

I once saw this trend about stealing stuff from public places( the name had the word devil in it). After a while people starting calling others out for what they were doing and a new trend started( with the word angel in its name) where people would return things or restock things in public.

I don't know, it's the fact that this account is saying if they go low you should go lower, that's wild. with how many followers they have they really shouldn't be preaching to make someone feel worse when they make you feel bad. who's writing these scripts and who hurt them so badly? while I'm definitely not one to just let it roll off my back, telling impressionable kids that they should be meaner to someone than they were to them is absolutely terrible advice.

I know how it feels to be bullied because I've been bullied all my life. I'm 36 years old now , and I'm still being bullied now. Instead of kids and my teachers, it's now all my grown-ups and my neighbours. I all really have mental health and anxiety and low self-esteem and self-confidence. On top of that, I do self-harm because of my past trauma, and I just feel like I should be used to it, but like people say, stick up for you, but when you it's wrong so

I am NOT the bigger person in ANY situation. My mom is tho, at least to strangers, but NOT to her family members. Ok so when I was younger I had these 'friends' in my school bus. We were on pretty good terms, but then this girl from my class started to come, now mind you I am very polite to everyone and I didnt even talk to her that much. Things started out fine but then suddenly she started bullying me. Whats worse is that she even turned my friends against me. I just endured it the best I could and didnt really tell anyone. One day one of the girls told her teacher about how I bullied her. The teacher called me to her class and accused me but I've had enough. I told her the truth. The teacher started calling her out and then she started crying. She called her sister ( who also bullied me ) and gave her a piece of her mind. From that day they didn't bully me, which was a relief but yk....we were really good friends and it really pained me for us to be so distant. I really don't know what had gotten into them to treat me so terribly. ANYWAYS I reallly wanted to vent out and thanks for reading this if you did :)

I been bullied so many times the first couple of times was because I am deaf and the recent one was because in 2018 my Mom Died and I was in secondary school getting my lunch thinking about my mom and then some bullies didn’t stay quiet and started to throw stuff at me PS I still go to Secondary School and they got punished for them making fun of me for thinking about my mom that died you too can tell your stories if you want to because I’m always there to help
