Don't tell Colin. But your channel has a lot more interesting insights into farming. Living in the town seems so small compared to your life. Open spaces and satalite driving tractor is mind blowing. Keep up the great channel. And the insights of a working farm.
What a beautiful video! Thanks Tom, all the points covered. Except of course for knowing your fields by heart! The weather, the seed, the timing… Lovely kit that. ❤
Greetings from Canada Tom! I run a small (for North American standards) grain farm and i find your videos very interesting! I love seeing how different farms run and the machinery they use all over the world. I would love to see you do a farm tour video of your various operations, you have a lot of neat stuff going on. Keep 'em coming!
I liked seeing the mechanism for portioning the amount of seed processed, it is so simple, yet so effective, as it can work at the same speed, but have lots of fine adjustment so you're not wasting expensive seed :)
The money you guys have to invest is unreal total respect to you . On the positive it’s honest good work and healthy be great see you collab with a American farmer Tom see what it’s like do a week at each others farms like exchange students 😅
Daft question maybe but where does the seed come from? Can you collect it from the previous harvest or do you have to buy it? And if you buy it, where do they get it from? Interesting video anyway
That’s very interesting and informative . Didn’t realise there was so much science into setting a simple seed . ?. What’s the difference between the grain harvested and the seed set ?. Great vid 👍
Even though you had 100mm (4") of rain the ground dried out enough to drill quite quickly. Have you got tiles in or is it just down to had the land lays? Good job, nice drill as well. thanks....
I'm a simple man. I see Tom Lamb upload, I upvote.

More satelite driving stuff! Would love to see how you setup a field, tractor and implements for autosteer etc.
That tractor is a spaceship. The amount of tech at your fingertips is staggering. Truly amazing insight into modern farming.
Great farming channel . No ranting about stuff . Just great content .
This is quite relaxing. Do other farming channels rant a lot?
Thanks Tom. Another interesting video. We drove by Stamford yesterday, I always think of you and Mr Furze when I am in the area.
Just the speed you can drill at is unreal.
What a setup! Great video Mr. Lamb !

Need one of Ollie’s seed socks Tom. But must say that land must be very free draining after all the storms we’ve had
I do need one yes it’s on limestone
You make it look eeeasy mate! TOM LAMB!!!
Nice looking Soil
Great video Tom and interesting thanks for making them 👏👏👍👍
Damn, didn't know the tractor actually drives itself. Just like farming simulator.😅
Very intresting thanks
Nicely done Tom 👍
Loving the vids Tom 👍🏻😄

It comes from the previous harvest
Can you show with the next harvest how you get the seeds? Amazing video
You could do with another 2m on that drill the way the Massy pulls it Tom
I could but for the amount we do can’t really justify it
A friend of mine’s brother works for väderstad. Alway fun to see them out and about it’s the world.
Watchibg this reminded me of Top Gear when they used a whole bag of seed on 3 feet of land.

There both the same seed
Very interesting, and thats not sarcasm Tom. 👍🏻🙂
Tyre compaction grubbers not in the ground drilling
Really interesting 👍🏾
You should hit up Olly blogs for a seed sock when changing over on the drill.
Can you ask him for me ?
Cracking job lol

Limestone sits about 6inchs under the soil
I'm surprised you're not using inch for rain and pounds for grain.
At least it's not that wet !
Woah! How do you learn all this stuff Tom?
Probably a mix of school and the equipment's user's manual.
First view 🙂
What’s the plough disc called that’s meant imitate a mole think it was designed in the 50’s thought you might know chief
Dii I’m dmt realise how much technology is involved in the equipment it’s impressive. Does it spy on you though ? N does it help Tom ?
Why do you use the marker if you are using GPS?
Just leave them out in case satellite goes down
Is it your own farm land or sowing for someone else do u own many acres
Tom it 💪
Which region do you farm in? Intersting to see farm conditions in different parts of the country.
Lincs
have you ever tried direct drilling or are you planing on?
Done loads but the yields were poor if you looked at the avereages
You should get a illy blogs seed sock 😂
How much land you guys have? You lease?
Own
dude so much stone?? need a stone picker???
Did you drill the headlands 1st? If so why?
Just always have done
how fast are you driving with that sower??? youre going super sonic it seems.
It says 18kmh on the speedo
@@stephengarner9109 i wouldnt dare to do that with my sower, we are doing half that on a dry field, let alone a wet one like this.
You don’t need that much hoss on a 4m vaddy surely 😂
No but more the better right ?
