Best thing you can do when learning, is grind both ends on a whole ten pack of tungsten. Try to make them all the same angle so they act the same. That way you don't have to stop what you're doing and re sharpen it. You can just flip the tip or replace it... because you will dip the tip and splatter it with metal. Turns out getting frustrated doesn't produce good welds.

8:40, if there’s anyone here doing e36 shit just know that a 4cyl driveshaft WILL fit a 6cyl swap. You need to loosen it in the centre and wind it all the way in so it’s as short as can be. No it will not be balanced but it will get you around until you sort a proper med case rear end. Also if you have an auto 6cyl driveshaft you’ll only need a 6cyl manual front half of driveshaft to convert it to a manual shaft.
Spoon's definitely good peoples and he can build the hell out of a car. You can also see how much that meant to Spoon. Jimmy got a great dude and awesome builder/fabricator on his team. The Oakes Crew has been killing it

People don’t use industrial hydraulic lines enough in builds no need to discredit how well they work and look. Honestly those fittings are way more secure than any “AN” line ever could be. Looks good and kinda oem

I got a TIG and havn't really had the motivation to mess with it after finding out how bad I was at it. I needed the push to get out there and get some seat time with it as Jim said. So off to the shop I go, to document how bad I am!
As a welder who does it for a living, it’s 99.99% in hood time(not seat time ;) you will only get better by putting the hood down and welding. Nothing else will make you better! Books and videos don’t make you better they just give you ideas for what to do when you run into issues.
Speaking of bmw’s when are they gonna go drifting with his mom those progress videos were awesome, he’s getting his friends and family into drifting I can’t wait to see all the bmws in a video on the same track
Jimmy, your intro is always good, at least you do one unlike so many other creators. I don't know if you've watched Bode Vision, but that dude's intros are the best. His format is the same but each one is different often based on what is going on in the world and clever. I'm sure Steve can come up with something creative, love watching him spitball ideas on the spot. Could do a Live video if you need a filler and spitball with the guys an intro for the videos, take viewer feedback, narrow down a few ideas, and do a channel viewer vote. This would create some fun behind the scenes content as well with the vote, unique viewer interaction for the channel which would help with algorithms. Either way, love the content, keep killing it!

you say bmw lifters are bad, old subaru EA82 lifters were the first subaru lifters that were hydraulic, they sound super bad when the oil pimp seals go on them. the video you with the the lifters and dunking them in oil was a good insight on how to set them up if your replacing them. great video once again, sending vibes from australia

Just a e36 tip but there are marks on the drive shaft to realign everything and keep the drive shaft balanced I’ve seen a few not be put back properly and it just takes everything else out like the u joints keep going through gwibos can’t remember how to spell that but something to keep in mind and look for
