Hi and thank you for this review. I love this brand of affordable knife. I have 2 Peak (S90V and Rwl34) and a Crafter (D2). In Europe they are really not expensive at all. I like Spyderco and Benchmade, but you can buy these Manlys for a fraction of the price of those first. You convince me to buy this knife. THANKS !!🇨🇵
I have a peak in D2 with the hole as well as a wasp in sandvik steel and have an s90v city in route with the contoured scales. I heard of Manly probably a couple years ago and started purchasing their knives back when they still had the US distributor mainly bc of the thin geometry, all the steel choices, as well as the prices of course. Oh I also have one of their fixed blades in D2 but can’t think of the model at the moment. Overall they offer a lot of value and bang for the buck. well-made and great work knives that slice very well. Looking forward to the city as it will be my first manly in super steel. Thanks for the review and the comparison to the native as I have avoided the city in the past out of concerns that It may be smaller than I prefer but now seeing it next to the native and owning one of those it will be just fine and a provide a 4 finger grip.
Nice video, thanks! Not so many videos of the manly city yet. I'm thinking of picking one up but am undecided between the wasp and the city. Do you recommend either one over the other? I prefer a backlock and love the native ergos, but also don't have a slipjoint yet which could be nice and understated for travel/life here in europe.
Nice ! I collect spyderco knives and never thought about trying Manly knives (mainly because of the 5 steps slipjoints they made). But the peak with the hole or this one seem very good. In S90V ofc ! apparently it's really that steel, and the heat treat isn't that bad. On the peak, someone mesured it a 0.006" behind the edge all the way
@@allthingsknives My Wasp is coming in tomorrow, I'm happy to test that. Didn't see the City at french dealers yet, would've appreciated a backlock instead of the slipjoint (but eh, $50....)

Yeah the manly knives are awesome, I sold my peaks but kept the city and my wasps they are great knives.
