Yeah I think the reason Leo didn't just light up Wrangler the moment he tried to casually walk out with cuffed Osvaldo, was because it essentially put him in a lose-lose scenario simply because of how gameplay features work. If he starts blasting because they didnt respect the hostage situation, the cops will have justification to open fire too, taking out all the Cubans and even if a few hostages get caught in the crossfire, it'll be shrugged off as "EMS will just take a look at them no problem"; boom RP event over within seconds and cops book them all for a "quick big W" with no consequences on their side. But then again, that's the kind of "failRP" PENTA (the cop) got his char demoted for from PD. The only reason this specific scenario never gets mentioned, is because Spaceboy and everyone involved are lighthearted about RP anyway, so they didn't mind. The problem is him doing this sort of stuff to people who DO mind and openly not giving a shit about their desire to RP properly.
I am pretty sure Spaceboy does mind. Like in 2021, there is a bit from James Randall where he didn't describe something about his character to EMS. But then described it when he was at the hospital getting checked out. A chick got sassy and went, "I guess my eyes didn't notice that the three times I checked." Which it seemed to make him mad. I noticed he's less verbal about things that annoy him as time goes on, likely keeping things off stream and more in the background where the common person doesn't see it. But he does occassionally speak his mind on things still. Still, that cop was pretty terrible. Also, demanding all hostages and acting like you're the one in charge to a situation like that is pretty bad acting as a cop. I'm glad they eventually changed narrative to letting a few go for a trade. But even then, the car wasn't needed, they weren't robbing the place. Idk, the situation just felt bad and James blowing people up was the most satisfying part of the whole thing. Cops deserved that L. x'D
Gotta love a cop just escorting out the leader of the hostage takers in the middle of the scene then getting sassy with them and pointing guns at them as well. I love SpaceBoy's content and Randall but god the cops on NoPixel are just atrocious. There's very very few who actually are enjoyable to watch because they can't take an L at all
