And a few more fun facts:
    1. All of their 3 official albums from the 90`s were published by WB company! This amazing accomplishment for this weird experimental band was manageable due to Patton`s success with Faith No More in that decade. The `big shots` of this company simply believed that Mr. Bungle will be a popular `hitmaker` too. Oh, how wrong were they! But accidently, they allowed a real underground pearl & legend to be born for the bigger audience...
    2. Since the early days, and throughout their career (1985-2000), the band members were known for their remarkable stage presence, particularly - for wearing the funny and crazy (clown) masks and baggy clothes. Their most remembered stage look was around 1991-1993, which was the time of their biggest popularity (and, ofc, Mike Patton`s and FNM`s...). By that time, they wore all kinds of ridiculous masks on their faces, yet they were all in janitors` clothes! And check this out: just a few years later, a young band called Slipknot emerges from their pits of Iowa, wearing exact the same suits and masks !!! The leader of this band Corey Tailor can`t even hide his admiration for Mike Patton and Mr. Bungle...and decides to thank him for the impact on his life by shamelessly ripping him / them off....! As a result, a lot of today`s kids are more related to the poor taste, popular mr.bungle-ish outfit of Slipknot and their loose take on mr.bungle-inspired music than to the original source of clown-metal and hyper-creative music that Mr. Bungle itself represents. A sad fact to the many real Mr. Bungle fans. But, in reality - we don`t give a ****.. We know the original power and energy of Mr. Bungle. We know that Mr. Bungle gave birth to the most of so called `Nu metal` bands such as: Incubus, System of a Down, Slipknot, Papa Roach, Korn, Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit, and many, many more.. And as Patton once said when they asked him about these new bands and him being an icon to these bands...like: "I don`t grow any responsibility towards it...It`s not my problem...It`s their moms` problem." A modest man.
    3. The boys from the band are kind of multi-instrumentalists. They use a bunch of keyboards and synths, both on the scene and in the studio, that enrichens the sound a lot. Some of the synth sounds are actually the samples: from the video games, famous movies, etc.On the other hand, some are self-made, mostly by Patton`s incredible chaotic voice, and also by the guitarist Trey`s amazing sound knowledge, sound producing ability and intricate musical intuition. The bassist Trevor is a jazz musician, guitarist Trey also, kind of... They are all very nicely educated musicians. Also, Mr. Bungle is the first metal (originally, death metal) band that has a brass section within. It`s most prominent in their jazz and ska inspired songs. It`s consisted of their saxophonist Bar and trombonist Leo, though the guitarist Trey occasionally plays the trumpet. Leo has left the band around `95, not being able to follow the growth of the band... Unfortunately, the latest news regarding him are not good at all... He is accused of the m**der of his girlfriend last year...! What a sad drop-off this guy turned out to be...!
    4. Mr. Bungle disbanded in 2000. but reformed 20 years later, where in 2020 they re-created their first ever, high-school demo which is mostly one genre only, speed-thrash-death metal. It`s called "The Raging Wrath of The Eastern Bunny"... So, they formed a full circle on their career ... and who knows; maybe they`ll continue with something amazingly new in the years to come. Thanks for the reaction and looking forward for the new one too. Bye...

This video is a fan-made work, so it doesn`t represent the official Mr.Bungle step into visualisation considering this particular song rather than its own point of view, but in some degree - it has a valuable standpoint. 🙃😉Mostly due to its weirdness, corkiness and clownish style - which are the original marks of this band. 😊 The most prominent, yet vague definition of their sound could be entitled as `clown core` . 😉 BTW, their name originates from an old Pee Wee Herman TV show, where you can find a puppet called `Mr. Bungle`, depicted as an ugly looking, ill-mannered boy, that serves as an example for children of how NOT to behave! 😀Patton and his (then also - school) mates, the young band members thought this was hilarious and full of meaning and decided to name their band by this puppet.😃And the legend was born...😎The unbreakable, young and wild spirit, the boldness of the ideas these fellows brought into their sound as the time went by completely justifies that name.😉😊 You mentioned Patton`s genre versatility? Nothing can be more close actually to this than this band`s work . 😀So, if you can imagine a Clown in the Circus, right...? And this clown holds the various colored balls in his hands, ok...? 🙃🙂And he throws them in the air and starts to jingle them in all possible directions in space and time...?😀Now think that each ball represents a different musical genre.😉🙂.... That`s what Mr. Bungle does in their songs ! 😃😃😃It`s a clownish, multi-genre music experience. 😀😉🙃🙃😊What happened with this song though (Pink Cigarette) is, what we may call: a pure luck for your sense of shock,😄 because it happened to be the rarest type of their songs - the one with only 1 genre within,😉 which in this case would be, like, what..?.. bluegrass? country? Elvis Presley type music? 🙂In either way, many of the real fans will concur with the fact that this is one of their least dynamic and, if you will, even most boring songs that can be found on their plate.😉(though they won`t distaste it for that matter; remember: they are still fans...🙂😎) But, if you want to hear the real madness of their sound, The Real Circus, ....😎you should really check up these songs: 😉
    1. Goodbye, Sober Day; 2. Ars Moriendi; 3. The Air Conditioned Nightmare; 4. None of Them Knew They were Robots....
(all of which are from this album the Pink Cigarette is... - "California", 1999)
    5. Carry Stress in The Jaw+The Secret Song (Spy); 6. Desert Search for Techno All*h; 7. Ma Meeshka Mow Skwoz, 8. Merry Go Bye Bye (from the album "Disco Volante", 1995)
    9. Travolta a.k.a Quote Unquote; 10. Squeeze Me Macaroni; 11. Carousel; 12. Stubb (a Dub); 13. The Girls of P*rn (from their first official, self titled album from 1991)... and just to mention: the last song from this list is their most `normal` song😅, so I wish you a success going towards it.🙃🙂😂...Or you can just skip the others and go straight there.😆😁😄😀😊
