    good dyi/diy led video. I see that fan didn't work as planned ,so you used the heat gun., and how the solder was melting in the current. Ideally there's missing dots, but visiting this video again . Have a good one

    Could someone tell me why my four OLED devices with the same concentration of solutions, same conditions and same sizes could have very different currency efficiency, , performance etc?? I do the spin coating and patterning within 20 minutes for 4 pieces.
    Can that because of the contamination of solutions or solvents or equipments, or due to my bad spin coating skills, or unbalance of the spin coating machine etc? What could be the factors?

      Hi Abdolazim, these do function as diodes, such that you should only see current flow and light when voltage is applied in the correct orientation. Hope that helps!

    How on earth is tin oxide or metal organic?

    • @midorner
      @midorner 9 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      The Kaiser when they talk about organic light emitting Diodes, they mean the emitting layers. In this case the red light is emitted by an organic compound. The electrodes indeed are non-organic in this case.

    • @thekaiser4333
      @thekaiser4333 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Michael Dorner What is organic about the compound?

    • @midorner
      @midorner 9 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      By "organic" is meant that the substance has carbo-hydrates in it. Those are mostly complex chemical structures which are synthetic (not "natural organics" as you might think) - but a lot of them indeed are environmentally friendly or even biodegradable. It's a Hype because it was not possible to organic chemicals to do all the cool stuff that metal did the past decades like be conductive or emit light and stuff..

    • @thekaiser4333
      @thekaiser4333 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Michael Dorner Mmmh, tasty, I like carbohydrates.
      What exactly is the organic substance here?

    • @ICavalcadeI
      @ICavalcadeI 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The Kaiser not carbohydrates. He means "carbon-based". The organic in this case seems to be poly vinyl alcohol.
