    Fucking eh right! Finally, a seal coat video where guys are pulling the edges like normal people. It was fun to watch you guys go back and forth and finish pulling sealer old school style like I used to do with a squeegee back in the day. I try to get the young guys on my crew to do that because it’s so much quicker but they’re too impatient and get frustrated easily and then I have chew ass and send them back to a rookie edge so they don’t jam me up. We’re using brooms now obviously. I have to tell you it was fun watching you guys haul ass! That’s the way my right hand man and I roll too!🤘🏼Having said that I would have sprayed it after running edges. Too busy to pull those by hand.

    I’ve got a question for you, when using the brush head was that to make sure the small cracks got filled without having to repeatedly having to go over it again

    • @TyKubinski
      @TyKubinski  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It definitely helps to get into the pores and into the small cracks and then we did a second coat spray to get the best coverage and to take away the brush lines

    • @rafars2246
      @rafars2246 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      As a home project you could use the brush for the first coat and the squeegee for the second coat to achieve similar results.

    this is a "in genreal" question. when someone decides to repave a parking lot, is it better to tear up the existing asphalt/concrete or just pave over it? is there (I'm sure there are) differences & if so what.

    • @TyKubinski
      @TyKubinski  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s better to tear it up and start over that way you can make sure the base is good. But it’s cheaper to do a overlay. But I dont recommend overlays because it will just mirror the problems of the old asphalt onto the new asphalt.
