This is available in my local Lidl here in Ireland, I could go for three beers tonight or buy a much needed handy screwdriver and with the screwdriver there's no hangover! I'm impressed by your dedication to properly testing with all those screws but agree that if I were doing any real work with wood I'd be reaching for my 12V at least. The supplied bits look total pants too!
Depending on your country, it might be available next week in Kaufland or Lidl. In my country it was available in Kaufland a few days ago and will be available in Lidl next monday. But I returned mine cause it was not as useful as a regular 12V drill.
Great video, I recently bought the bosch gen3 and compared to the bosch gen2. This parkside is very similar to the bosch gen 2, even the 360 rpm is the same, and the operation is identical. Great tool for electric work in panels, and furniture assembling. Sometimes I think parkside is a Bosch sub brand.
I'm happy to see it could drive so many unpiloted screws on one charge, and that it can also be used as a somewhat bulky fixed driver, in a pinch. Of the various cheap built-in battery driver kits offered at Lidl, this one seemed the most practical, and I felt it was simple and straightforward enough to be a good gift for a friend who is at best an occasional tool user. Thanks for your honest review. Incidentally, the driver you show in the end card is my go-to drill-driver in my shop, even though I have an old blue Bosch 18V. I find the Parkside black brushless to have plenty of power and is better balanced than my Bosch.
Yup, the screwdriver is a nice piece of kit, only if it had 10 newton meters, like most of them do, instead of 5. Also a battery indicator would've been nice. On the plus side, the mechanical clutch is a nice feature and also I prefer the straight shape with push to start, instead of the pistol shape most of them have.
Another brilliant review 👍 as you said be a great tool for an electrician or for someone assembling a lot of flat pack furniture. Looks to have decent power for the size.
Performance doesn't look all that bad! It might be decent enough for the type of person who needs to build IKEA or screw something from time to time but I personally would prefer a stronger tool just for the added flexibility (drilling & polishing bits/add-ons instantly come to mind) but still. Not bad at all and I could see its use!
Experience I guess. Chromed bits are usually bad quality. Also you can see it in the machining quality and the chrome finish that looks thin and badly applied.
THANK YOU so much to the people that are SUBSCRIBING! It matters a lot for a small new channel!

The main drawback is the lack of a battery indicator. You could have a full charge or be almost empty, the LED is still green.
@@TestAndReview1 Same with the more expensive Bosch IXO I was using - you could only tell the battery was dead when it stopped working.
Wanted to buy this but sold out 😢 I hope to get one soon, looks good! Great video as always!

Yea, they copy a lot from bosch, especially in the 12 volt line.

Thanks mate!

I agree, a 12V drill is much more useful.
I’ve never heard this man’s voice
You still haven't mate, it's auto generated. I guess you come from the main channel? If so, then thank you!
Good, no-frills review. Probably ideal for home use, but I think a professional would use it to death pretty quickly. Thank you.
Thanks mate!
I didn't realise that they have 2 pin plugs in Scotland 😊
😀
I hate the push to on feature
Sadly there is no way to deactivate that.
How can you tell if a bit is cheap?
Good review.
