We stayed there once and the place was really nice but the dog poop turned me off.
I walked along the beach at dawn accompanied by a lot of dogs. I don't know if they are stray dogs or owned by the villagers but they were friendly enough and I don't mind them following me. I saw the dogs pooping along the beach, not just one but several of them.
