Just got a 3060 12gb. Could have got a 3060ti 8gb for a little more power, but at about $50 more. I only play in 1080, and my monitor is just 60hz. I can max out basically everything (except the ray tracing stuff) and get constant capped 60fps in any game I play. I have a 550W Gold power supply, so probably could have gone with the 3060ti. But, from what I've seen in tests, the 3060 runs about 40watts lower with load. Rather keep my power supply not maxed out too. Overall, very happy and a great upgrade from the 1650 I had before this (built my PC in November 2021 when GPU prices were crazy, the 1650 did me well on medium settings though until prices came down and I wanted to upgrade).
lol i remember when i won a few matches of fortnite. I have a disability that makes it where i can not use a mouse accuratly the fine movements that you need for using a mouse i can't do sucks ik. I use a controller for all my games. But i remember when i won a few matches of fornite a few times it is pretty cool. 🙂

I have and RTX3060 with 12G, running with a Ryzen 7 3700x, 16g ram WD black gaming hd and corsair Gold rated psu 650W. I can not get Fortnite to run higher then 200fps. I keep getting massive drops to 3,15,30 fps every time I turn or move. And I have it on the lowest settings. I just don’t get it. I tried everything, updates, reinstall, clean install. Benchmark says its 98% score, nucular sub and 3dmark score is 9030 or something. It’s running on an aio max temp is maybe 55C. I just don’t know what else to do? Any advice or idea? Ty
@@zWORMzGaming Oh, my bad, i usually skip the 4K parts. Then it must be entirely CPU bound, cuz i've seen plenty of people having problems getting stable FPS in that area. Even on consoles it's not maintaining 120 or 60 with Nanite.
17:22 you'll see lumen most inside buildings, as it's RT ambient occlusion so it's much more realistic then the standard SSAO. Outside areas dont see much improvement unfortunately
I just got a 3060 12gb, and while playing Fortnite with all max settings at 1080p (including the highest options that are only available with nanite enabled), I was only getting 100-110 watts power draw at 100% usage according to Msi afterburner. Afterburner also said my gpu had a higher clock speed than yours, but it was getting less fps. Weird.
Helpful video! As you mentioned playing with the 4080, were you CPU bound with the 13600K? With 1440P / High (Lumen) / DLSS Quality with my 7700X/4080, I'm unable to push the GPU utilisation above 90% with ~125 FPS average.
Thats not you its because of unreal engine.. devs these days don't bother with the shader compilations much before games, apex seems to be one of the few that does and thats a modified source engine game.. Its only going to get worse for gaming as more games move on to unreal engine. Witcher 4 or whatever if thats on unreal engine will probably suffer this also..

A Friend told me when ever i use my 1080P Monitor and upscale games to like 1440P the FPS i get is not the FPS id get on a real 1440P Monitor. Is that a thing and if so, how much of a diffrence can i espect there guys?
@@zWORMzGaming ye using DSR. DSR is a blessing, My 3080 is enough to get good FPS in 1440P and my 1080P Monitor is quite old by now an ASUS 144Hz from 2015. DSR helps geting rid of the most blurred textures, pixel jagged and flickering imagie.

Hi Kryzzp, Mega City with RT on is really cpu intensive, with high lumen fps drops heavily there with a Ryzen 5 3600. I would like to see what a 3060 Ti can do with your beastly CPU, could you please test my card in Fortnite sometimes in the future? :D
I don't know if I'll test it this season, I have a recent video on it, I don't think the performance changed much aside from the introduction of DLSS and a bit less stuttering :)

Most likely the computer, not the os.
Check the placement of each thing and look for support.

Change the launch option, high textures off in the epic games launcher, that helped me a bunch, I have a i5 9400

Just ordered a 3060 from msi for 270. i have z 200hz curved 30 inch 1080p monitor. this gpu will be very capable of locking at 200fps at comp settings

Try it on dx12 instead, performance mode barely uses your hardware, it's meant to run on limited resources on low end PCs

You can't use Lumen without Nanite.
Also I suggest enabling it in all scenarios because it gets rid of the LOD pop-in.
