@@TotalPowerSolution Hi, Pawan, Please do a little research on opto-diacs and it will be clear. Vbo of opto-diac is controlled by IR pulse. You apply a pwm pulse on IR LED so you control opto-diac's Vbo this gives you both quadrant firing of opto-diac ( delayed firing from zero crossing ). If it's a triac inside opt ocoupler than you can not control both quadrants by pwm. I have seen some cheap websites where it is mentioned that it is a triac inside opto coupler.
