- Number 1 overall pick Joe Burrow had an amazing rookie season. Unfortunately, it's going to be cut short due to injury, but he will be back again next year, looking for vengeance. He finished his rookie year with 2,688 passing yards and 13 passing touchdowns. He added another 142 rushing yards and 3 rushing touchdowns on the season.

My Dad just passed away a couple of days ago. He was a lifelong Bengals fan and watching this highlight was the last thing we ever did together, before he left. RIP Dad.

Oline is a necessity for them but you don't draft every position oline when you have other holes to fill also.
He's going to be a treasure for fans and the game for decades. I'll probably be about 70-75 when he hangs em up and I believe he'll be one of the greats who live on in our memories.

I believe in due time his play will take off with the addition of several quality offensive linemen in yesterday's NFL 2021 Draft plus the addition of his go to guy while at LSU in Ja"Marr Chase. They have such a good rapport & Ja'Marr Chase can adjust to almost any ball & in due time he'll become elite & will easily in no time be the WR1 in Cincinnati & possibly take the league by storm, even in a tough division. Just look what he did week in & week out in the SEC. Can't wait to see what they can do for an encore.

Joe Burrow was the best rookie quarterback in 2020 and could very well play as the best of his class again in 2021. Watch for Tua Tagovailoa to take over and lead the pack as the best quarterback in a Tagovailoa, Burrow, and Herbert rivalry from 2022 and beyond.

I know it may have only been for 7 yards and they didn't convert 3rd down... but the play starting at 7:19 mightve been my favorite play of the year.

At the end of the season opposing Defenses started to play their schemes tighter within the 40 yard of scrimmage, noticing Burrows dont have the deep long high passes. Not sure if he cant deliver that game or simply the OC is keeping him from it. Due to opposing Defenses playing tighter within the scrimmage, they started to blitz more and put in more hits as Burrows got hurt due to it. There are many QBs in NFL that cant throw the deep ball besides the 40 yard zipp passes that are low and direct but its very much needed for Defenses to be predictable of their plays vs QBs.

Why? They both have an incredible amount of maturity and skill. The only difference is that Burrow got injured due to his disgustingly terrible o-line.
Why tho? That’s actually stupid you don’t do that at all, they were both even and burrow has less talent on the team by a small bit, you don’t take that risk at all for such a small skill gap when one played only 9 games. Herbert could suck at the bengals for all we know.
Never seen someone with his ball velocity before. He throws an incredibly catchable ball in terms of ball speed.
To any Bengals and/or LSU fan out there, Burrow is going to make a big impact in the NFL, he deserves the respect.
