What does the spoiler shield do?
No, we are not hiding content on another website. Each matchup is a best of 3 format, meaning if a team wins two sets, they win altogether. If the video ended after the two sets, meaning there are only four chapters on the timeline, the viewer would immediately know who wins the matchup after the first set. A spoiler shield keeps the options open and makes it look like every matchup goes into the tiebreaker.

Perhaps it is not used for the same reason as "call of brine"?
I’m pretty sure pain res is only banned on killers that have a prominent M2 ability in chase. Killers that are forced to M1 for tags are allowed to use it.
Pretty sure they changed the pain res balance to shake up the competitive meta, as the DBDL balancing is player driven if I’m not mistaken
Pain Res is only allowed on Cenobite, Doctor, Legion, Wraith, Dredge, and Ghostface according to the discord server.

It’s about making a good viewer experience. The community views the perk as being too strong for killers, which makes them too lethal. Matches where killers steamroll the survivors aren’t as fun to watch (or play, for that matter). Banning the perk on most killers provides a more even playing field, which is then more fun to watch and play.

Why did calamity’s artist use noed in the match? His win con is 3 gens and tie is 4 gens, if they got 5 gens and you get a 4k it means nothing, can someone explain to me?
Both teams have to lock in their perks before they play the set so whoever plays killer second doesn't have the advantage of knowing if they need to bring nied or not, stuff like that

I know it's the most efficient way to play but watching the killer just go back and forth camping on first hook is such a ugly playstyle. I wish there was a more optimal way to play but sadly it's just how it is.
