- How do you fight more than one opponent in Minecraft? Well I don't actually know. This is information I've gathered purely from experience and what other people tell me, feel free to point anything wrong out!

Just want to note: The skill level of the average player has dramatically increased in the past 3 years and so it's MUCH MUCH harder to take 1v+ fights. So tunnel fighting is kinda the meta for fighting multiple people at the moment!!!

Heres some tips if u 3v1 an opponent more skilled then the 3 of u,
1: Dont qd, heal early, keep ur saturation up since ur opponent is fighting the other at all times, u dont have to worry abt them heaing too
2: Use ur recources a bit more sparingly, like not using strenght when chasing after ppl (since ur just not gonna be able to hit them anyway) and this alows for ur opponent getting overwon in the drain
3: Act like ur weak, I once fought a guy in a 3v1 and was acting like I was almost dying, while just being on 7 hearts, he fell for it and actually focused me so hard and my team could just crit him in the back
4: Do NOT become cocky, every weakness u show ur opponent can/will take adventage off, resulting in him winning.
(maybe pin cuz yk more ppl see it that way)
Yeah, just adding a few things on:
-it’s good to have one or more players using axe since it lowers armor durability faster and will allow for easier shield disables
-you might not want to pretend your low as getting targeted lowers your resources. Instead pushing your opponent around avoids getting targeted as a whole and helps out with the drain playstyle
-always stay grouped, besides trying to hit from behind, being separated allows for 1v1s to happen which isn’t a great idea
@@KairyuYT I forgot to mention the dmg ticks ruining getting double dmg from sword crits, so ima do a step for axe in general, acting low can work good, since the opponent doesn't expect it to be a trick, trying to go all in to get the kill and pearl away last second, its risky but if u survive long enough either the opponent backs off, or dies. with the dont qd and heal when ur behind, dont do that if its not a 2v1 at the enemy

@@reality9366 The thing is, im not actually weak so I can just heal with pearls while he thinks im low (im not) messing up his playstyle, and this wont work if the other ppl are ur skill lvl but if thats the case im not fighting flame

How to win outnumbered fights?
Step 1 your opps doesnt know how to play
Yeah, kinda vital. If even one of the opponents are better than you, the others could literally step back and let that guy handle you. Even if you win that disadvantaged 1v1, they will jump you right after. So even with that unoptimal strategy by the enemy team, you would have to win a disadvantaged 1v1 without losing too many resources or being left in a bad position so that you can still beat the rest of the group (assuming they are not just actually good too), which makes it somewhat unlikely depending on the exact circumstances.
Honestly opps don’t have to be worse than you, because usually when in a 2-10v1:
-They will look more rarely at their health
-They will drop you gear (giving you better gear with every kill)*
-They will stress out if they see that you killed other teammates, leading them to be worse.
-They will overall focus a lot less on the fight, making you able to pearl away without chasing you (even in a 10v1)
*you usually are the closest to their loot, and have a bit of time to take it, if using cobs correctly, and with the gear you can usually take on better players if you hold long enough.

Well in this case you might be forced into using some forbidden techniques.. First I’d recommend releasing the 300 spare wardens stored underground. Of course thinking this would kill anyone would be a wide underestimation of player skill. Instead this would act more as a distraction for the tnt minecart traps you set up previously spanning to the world border in 5 block intervals. Now this would no doubt cause the players some trouble and maybe kill a few but the real lethality cones from the amount of entities set off at once. Most if not approximately 90% of your pursuers’ games would crash leading, of course you have a mod/client to handle this. Now in the event some of your opponents have a similar game modification, you’ll be forced to use the 500x500 chunk void trap. Again this would be an underestimation of player skill and the remaining players would definitely have elytra auto equip and would be able to fly out, which makes them vulnerable to the tens of hundreds of railguns placed across the sky. Knowing all of this, you’ll have countermeasures prepared for each event allowing you to effectively win the battle. This solution has been proven to work in theory but I’m still working on a cheaper variation that can be built in creative Minecraft. More about tunnel fighting: You can actually move faster by placing a water and start swimming and bucket the water back up. This makes you run while crawling
This is true, just if they web your water you’ll have to find a water cave or go back to the surface
There’s also a way to do this with a boat in case you’re in the nether
used to do this in survival and it's very useful

4:36 cart, harming arrow, crystal, ect. are all optimal for killing and all work similarly in a 1v? so I didn’t feel like it was necessary to mention it.

After watching the video and reading some of the comments I get I didn't really address one aspect of an unfair fight...
If your opponent is MORE SKILLED THAN YOU, you can't really do much in a standard pvp setting, but there are many forms of counterplay that can be done. Most notable is by manipulating the environment. In DragonMC's video on killing Ferre, he edits the arena they fight in to directly counter Ferre's playstyle (and wins even though Ferre is much better than him). Tunneling is also a very good way to deal with my skilled opponent as most people have very little experience fighting underground (Like 70% of the pvp community haven't even fought underground). If you can change the environment to your specialty or strength, the skill difference will matter much less!

Just dig down in a 5x5 hole and your enmities will hit each other making it easier for you to win the fight
Probably would’ve worked 3 years ago, but the average player’s skill has risen to the point where they’ll probably kb you into a corner and web you
Also i want to point out that more players doesnt always mean more damage, because of damage ticks, which are a half a second period after getting hit where only a higher damage attack will register (thats why in a 2v1 one person should use an axe)

Step 1: assume your opponents are incompetent.
The dmg in 1v2s isnt even that bad, usually u can heal against the dmg due to damage ticks, the damage is mostly more consitant. All in all pretty good vid tho ngl.
TL:DR Guerrilla Tactics
Remember, if you’re in this type of situation, you shouldn’t focus on a fair fight. Play dirty.
Use every kind of splash and lingering potion under the sun, damaging, withering, weakness, slowness, they will burn through their milk buckets eventually, dig through the ground, lead them on a goose chase, become a scourge on their sanity. It doesn’t matter if Invisibility has particles, you can’t see much on a dark tunnel anyways. Also probably have an ender stasis chamber ready
with 1.21 coming out... you gotta do one on mace pvp... i can already see how it works... i lost interest in blowing things up... so i resort to destroying my humans in as many different ways as possible...

Wait, what do you mean double damage? You can only take the damage from 1 player, because when you are immune if the second player deals the same damage or less, no additional damage is dealt. I assume durability still goes down?

UHC players could tell a word or two about fighting with gear diff, as it happens there all the time. The iconic example of dealing with this is trapping, although as I've heard, it isn't actually done that often. Also, 1.21 just came out, anyone with the mace is going to be just instant death sentence.

does this work for a 10v1 to a 20v1
Theoretically, but at that point you’ll want to rely more on explosions (tnt minecarts, end crystals, ect.) and traps. If those aren’t allowed on whatever server then it’s best to run and log 😁

@@MrTikibomb crossbows shouldn’t affect you if you all have the same gear, if there’s a combat log timer, just invis and pearl in many directions until they lose you. If you don’t have any of those materials you’re kinda screwed
