Been hype for this ever since I found out it would be coming to steam. Had not known it was out on Epic already as a pseudo test version before the full release and now do not want to spoil the full experience for me by getting it early. (Even if the hype is mighty) Bsides... wanna play my glorious Advent anyway. For the Unity!
I can kind of understand people not wanting to get SoaSE 2 because it's so similar to the first game. Screw that. I still play Rebellion to this day, I will gladly pay for one of my favorite games to look and play so much better. Hell, I'd pay full price for the quality of life improvements alone. Or the graphics. Or just the new engine's modding potential, considering how technically hamstrung the original was.
SINS 2 is (IMHO), at best, a somewhat polished DLC of the original, it's better.. but not evolutionary or revolutionary. There's nothing here that screams 'I must buy this' other than my enjoyment of what came before, a better version of that, the same but different if yall get my drift. An updated replacement of the original, like a remixed song that you remember you enjoyed way back. I hope it does well and many expansions/DLCs are released
Revamp, optimalization of the engine, upgraded graphics. There might be few pros of the new game even if it doesn't change that much gameplay wise. I 'd cry out for a new/refreshed Black and White/Battle for the Middle Earth
Sins of a Solar Empire 2, from Stardock, a company led by Brad Wardell, who infamously supported Gamergate and is still today on the far right of politics in gaming, he recently rejoiced at the layoffs of gaming journalists who he called "activists". I boycott all games made by Stardock and I encourage you to do the same.
I have been playing the beta for this for a year. It's more accurate to call it SoaSE 1.999999999999999. Every improvement you can think of.

I hope they make the UI scalable. It looks small here.

15 years ago I'd be hyped. I've played this game already. 15 years ago. It's not different enough. Right done to the terrible UI.
When is the release exactly ? Give us a hint? Early summer late summer?
Q3 is usually late summer
UI looks extremely small, hard to read
They said there will be a UI revamp before Steam launch, also the Advent release.
You can scale it.

woke loser detected 😀
I was already going to buy the game, you don’t have to sell it to me
Lmao so true @@philswift1233
@@philswift1233gunna buy it just based on this 😂
Same. I’m more inclined to buy it now
Unrealistic. Two small children and you still have time to play video games.
