But as soon as I came to stand in his presence, I felt the Holy Spirit, I felt peace, and love and that settled it for me. Pastor Osteen is an encourager and whether he is in front of the camera or behind it, he would still be the same as we see him on tv. His anointing is truly an indicator of the relationship he has with God. And remember, how we judge, it will be meted back to us.

Well for starters, it is not the preacher that "has" such a strong and beautifully sounding worship team. This glory is for Christ and only Christ. It is the Holy Spirit that moves our hearts and gives us the desire and capacity to praise Jesus Christ our Lord so strongly and yes as you say, so beautifully.
He preaches a prosperity gospel he says that people can have their best life now yet that can only be true if they are going to hell we should be willing to suffer as our Lord Jesus Christ did until we get to eternity.
I'm very sorry to be commenting this, but I just always find it difficult to understand how such a lukewarm preacher can have such a strong and I dare say beautifully sounding worship team.
Because he's not a lukewarm preacher and it's not a lukewarm church. His personal mission is different from the churches ministry. You don't get a membership that large with lukewarm spirituality. Check out the Lakewood website and see what it's really about.

This is a beautiful accompaniment of singers for a church led by a prosperity, sugar-coated preacher. If someone told me, oh if your faith is greater or stronger you will receive blessings but just tithe. Then I have to take a long hard look at this man behind the pulpit and ask Christ to send me His validation. Victoria said, do this not unto God but to yourselves. I can give you a feel good message. But Joel let's you leave happy and fulfilled. How about preparing the church, getting them ready? Preparing them for future according to Biblical prophecy?
