Hey everyone! I decided to take the GCU GAT for mphil English literature, and I could really use your guidance. If any of you have gone through this exam before or have knowledge about it, could you please recommend some books that would help me prepare effectively? For admission to M Phil English Literature Test pattern MCQs : 100 Marks Tentative division From English Literature approx.: 70 percent Literary theory : 10 percent apprx. Postcolonial theory : 10 percent approx. Grammar and Linguistics :10 percent approx. Recommended books 1. History of English Literature by Michael Alexander 2. Literary Terms by Martin Gray 3. Key Concepts in Post-colonial Theory by Bill Ashcroft et al 4. High School Grammar by Wren and Martin Important information: A) Last date for applying online is 28 September 2022 B)Reporting time for the test will be 9:00 am on 1st October, 2022 1.The qualifying marks for the M.Phil and Ph.D test will be as per HEC Criteria i.e, 60% and 70%, respectively. 2. Passing marks for interview for Ph.D and M.Phil will be Five out of Sixteen. 3.Paper marking of tests will be on the same day and lists of qualified students will be displayed after vetting by the respective Dean. 4. Interviews of admission test qualified candidates belonging to far flung areas can be conducted on the same day.
Mam please make a video on this year Mphill entry test as well. I am confused whether it would be same like it. MCQ's from literature would be included or it would be analytical

GAT (Dogar Series) is enough for the preparation. Consult past papers too.
