I think that in 2024, we should stop using Catia v5 software. Dassault system no longer wants to bring new features into the v5 and it annoys me that it only focuses on the 3D experience. in the V5, the assembly module for example is mediocre in comparison with solidworks, fusion 360 which offers more advanced assembly constraints. in 360 fusion, there is even the constraint of the spring for example.....

Stop using v5 ? Why ? V5 is one of the best versions: simple interface, local save, fast running on almost any hardware, thousands of ideas to be improved using macros etc. Do you have a license for 3DExp ? I don't, yet...so why should we all give up of V5 ?

V5 seems faster to me, but it would be nice if it was updated more.
