So I know many people believe falling in love with someone can be the best thing to ever happen to them, but in my experience, it turned out to be the worst thing that could have ever happened. I think the saddest thing about two people who fall in love is that despite how in love with each other they are, despite how crazy they may be for one another, and despite the undeniable chemistry and connection they share, it sometimes turns out that they still can’t make it work. The toughest part is that even after you go your separate ways, that connection doesn’t disappear, it remains, and can feel like you’re still chained to one another with no hope of escaping. It can take over the most seemingly meaningless aspects of your day to day life. One example for me is that I can’t even eat something as stupid and ridiculous as scrambled eggs without thinking about how she hated her eggs runny and wanted them cooked to the point that they were almost burnt. But I guess that’s what heartbreak is. I guess that’s what losing the love of your life and losing your best friend feels like. It’s left me here with a sour taste in my mouth and a hard truth to face; falling in love has become a bigger and bigger gamble to make, in a game that I‘ve never won.

This song is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING AND BEAUTIFUL. This is how I am with my second wife. The mother of our kids. I would never get back with her because I remember how bad it was. Love is true and it hurts for sure. I'm in my mid thirties in the last 20 years I've been in love with two people. The last 10 years I was with a guy who I thought was my best friend and the love life my everything even raised to wonderful girls with him. Known him for since before high school was friends with my older brother so known him since I've been real young but that doesn't matter to him the whole time he was cheating on me and it was sleeping around the whole time and made me believe that I meant something to him he wouldn't let me work which was fine I stayed home clean the house raise the kids all good but I know now the only reason why you didn't want me to work again so I can watch his kids while he just went out to his other friend's house long story short, and he completely ghosted me so what do you do there I was a dream 10 years gone..... you can never unlove somebody no matter what they've done to you.
