I really don’t know how I got recommendation about this channel and I seemed interesting and plus as a not hung kong grown student it’s really hard for me to learn Cantonese or find any Cantonese Chanel where I can learn from I do have a reflux of not wanting to learn something that I am forced to learn but after watching his videos I am actually learning more and more Cantonese which is help me a lot in hk and as a student studying it and having my board exams coming up too. I actually would recommend others who I know this channel as this person is good and going through something similar to what we Cantonese learners are going through too. Happy to know have or know someone who I can relate and help me at the same time with my Cantonese 😊❤️

i don't understand cantonese but it sounds like you've got a good grasp, especially with niche topics like cooking! cantonese-only vlogs sounds like a great way to improve your speaking skills. keep it up, man! sending good vibes from england :)

its sinple 切菜 cit choy is correct, cut vegtables, you can add in detail if you want like 切乜嘢(cit mut ye) cut into what?, 切絲(cit si) cut shreds 切丁(cit ding) cut dice 切片(cit pin) cut slices, 剁(doek3) is to chop 剁碎(doek3seoi3) is to chop into tiny pieces or can be known as minced. We also have a technique called 拍扁(paak3bin2) slap flat we use it commonly for crushing ginger with a knife 拍薑(paak3goeng1) slap/crush ginger which also has the popular phase 拍薑咁拍 which is used like i will crush youi normally like an adversary like ginger

    Nice looking fried rice!
切 (cit) is correct. As well as 冷飯 (laang fan), as can say 隔夜飯 (gaak je faan), which means overnight rice.

yes , you can use 隔夜gaak3ye6 on most foods like dishes or soup it can be applied to different food types it just means it was made the night before so not freshly made

Challenge should be "tiu giin", one egg should be 一隻蛋 instead of 一個蛋
