Congress MPs were waving the constitution while the PM was taking his oath.. Considering the significance shown by the opposition on the Constitution, it was most appropriate that the new parliament started by reflecting on the past transgressions on the Constitution by previous governments ..including suspending the Constitution for two very long years ..from1975 to 1977.. and imposing the national emergency.. Personally, I feel the imposition of the emergency should remembered every year.. so that people aware of of what the government should not be alllowed to do in the future
If MPs maintain the decorum of the house, speak sensibly, and conduct themselves in a mature manner, and do not come to Parliament with an Agenda set by some anti national interests, no one can expel them. Heated arguments may, and will, be there but the same can be made in a civil manner. There will be disagreements in parliament and all MPs cannot be satisfied all the time. Disagreeing MPs can always vote against any resolution but should be ready to bow down to majority decision, instead of resorting to unruly behaviour to stall proceedings in a bid to have their way. If majority disagrees with the Government, the Government will also have to concede. There can be no scope for settling personal scores on either side. As citizens of India, we expect this from our elected MPs, and that they will work for NATIONAL INTEREST at all times. .
We, the people of the country, were expecting a lot from Nitish n Naidu, who failed miserably to be respectable n democratic leaders despite so much experience in the political line
Let the parliament be a decent discussion place for peoples problems. Not a place to make constitutional amendments for deviating constitutional guarantees to the comon men
