I was surprised when I saw the v live and she had so many major lines, bc in the MV, aside from everyone's focus in the first part, every other shot Jin's in is either distant or gone in the blink of an eye. Lovelyz is the one group that I know of that has a clean history. This girls is so unproblematic that some people find that problematic so they try to find something to hate but they always come out of it with empty hands. Sorry not sorry.
The uniqueness of the lovelyz song is that it is not only fixated on their concept, but rather on the harmonization between the members' voices (which even senior musicians have recognized). All members have their own distinctive voice (especially their vocal line), which, although different, can complement and blend into each other's voices. so if someone says that their signature is missing just because they try a different concept, that means that person does not know or understand the true uniqueness of Lovelyz's song.
One thing that keeps me from hoping that Woollim won't disband Lovelyz anytime soon is becasue of their recognition from seniors in the entertainment industry. Lovelyz dont follow mainstream music and that makes them unpopular with young teenagers who make up majority of the kpop fanbase. However, Lovelyz' raw talent has kept them running for 6 years and has brought them so far into their careers. Here's to hoping for more longevity and success for them in the industry.
On September 1st, Lovelyz release their comeback with "Obliviate" as their title track. Obliviate is a memory charm/spell in Harry Potter's magic world. In the MV, there's an owl that dropped a small letter, and in the first Harry Potter books and movies, we also saw lots of owls dropping letter on The Dursley's house. Last but not least, on September 1st is the first day of wizards to study magic on Hogwarts. Coincidence? I don't think so. Lovelyz are wizardols (wizard-idols). And Jiae definitely sorted to Gryffindor.
I want to be honest. Lovelyz obliviate is the only song I've ever watched without reading the comment section in the middle of the MV. This song sounds different at first but the more you got into the song, you could feel Lovelyz there. This is a great continuation for Moonlight. Though I don't stan them, Obliviate is really my song. I would like to appraise both Lovelyz and Stardust for creating this amazing masterpiece. And also Lovelinus who loyally giving support for them. Let's do anything for their win in MS despite the tough battle.

One thing that keeps me from hoping that Woollim won't disband Lovelyz anytime soon is becasue of their recognition from seniors in the entertainment industry. Lovelyz dont follow mainstream music and that makes them unpopular with young teenagers who make up majority of the kpop fanbase. However, Lovelyz' raw talent has kept them running for 6 years and has brought them so far into their careers. Here's to hoping for more longevity and success for them in the industry.

I want to be honest. Lovelyz obliviate is the only song I've ever watched without reading the comment section in the middle of the MV. This song sounds different at first but the more you got into the song, you could feel Lovelyz there. This is a great continuation for Moonlight. Though I don't stan them, Obliviate is really my song. I would like to appraise both Lovelyz and Stardust for creating this amazing masterpiece. And also Lovelinus who loyally giving support for them. Let's do anything for their win in MS despite the tough battle.
