Good vibes and a good win in Dingwall…..Yang’s best game so far…and Kenny looked comfortable…freezing cold up there….and 18 under in the south side of Glasgow….
Finally a return to some great Football on display - especially in the half-half, which was easily the best we’ve played since the 5-0 display against County at Home at the end of November. Far greater level of intensity, tempo, directness and variation to our attacking patterns of play - especially down the flanks. The central combinations worked well but especially the wide attacking combinations in particular were excellent at times - the overlapping and inside-out movements allowed for much more frequent 2v1s with effective/accurate final balls, which is obviously something we have been severely lacking of late. The dynamic play down the left was of course greatly enhanced thanks to the excellent Valle, who combined very well with the enigmatic Yang. It’s taking 18 long and often painful months, but today was his best game in the Hoops by a country mile. He looked so much more composed and in control out on the left. Credit where it is rightfully due, I’d never thought I’d say that. It wasn’t structurally the classic big guy/little guy two-man strike partnership, but Kyogo practically made it so on his own accord due to his game intelligence, outstanding work rate, mobility and agile movement, which created his goals even when he was primarily tasked with taking up the withdrawn positions. This switch-up really disorganised and disorientated what was a very compact defensive block.
Just imagine please ,just imagine if we had the players we got in early this season. Engels especially. It's no coincidence he started to play so well of late it's because of he's more settled in the system we play . Fans look at the players we bring in and think great but these guys need time to adjust . This board dragged it's heels for so long on transfers the time lost , in the bigger picture on the training ground proves to be invaluable and is ultimately hurting the teams preparation.did Rodgers not say he wanted guys in for the USA triip before we flew out there ?? There's a huge reason postecoglou wanted guys in early and performances proved that
Stealing a wage considering he can’t even formulate a coherent sentence half the time, but the more we see of him the better - he’s going to have a colossal breakdown live on air at this rate! 😂
The actual reason mate is his good pal on sky sports is their equivalent to casting director on feature films . He selects the panel of pundits for games and low and behold he's a rangers fan. Remember reading it somewhere
There are lies damn lies and statistics Trying to spin a narrative that Engels is better this season than MOR last season, is an absolute brass neck. Engels takes the penalties and MOR didn’t. You lose a lot of credibility if you don’t at least mention that when comparing “goals per minutes” ratios.
I clearly stated that comparing the stats was NOT a claim that Engels was better than Matt O’Riley. And the penalty point you mentioned WAS also pointed out. You lose a lot of credibility if you don’t at least listen to what was said before commenting 😎
We did emphasise that Matt (who we love) and Arne are significantly different players in position and style and did not denigrate one player in order to praise the other! The point we made was that Engels appears to be easing some of the concerns around both creativity & goals that we feared we’d lose when selling a player of Matt’s quality but he’s doing an admirable job of plugging that gap to an extent this season…..different players, absolutely but adding value & quality in their own way! 👍🏻

Kyogo was awesome.. not just his goals but some of his touches were sublime and that pass to Yang for the penalty was world-class.
He is and always was top quality.
That was a potential banana skin game today. Well done to the Bhoys. Hopefully we're still 18 points ahead tomorrow evening. 🍀
Excellent performance today on that surface , not an easy place to go , great to score 4 and win comfortably.👍🏻🍀💚🇮🇪
Wee like in my opinion is the best signing of the summer he always does something
Kyoto also does great defensive work at corners.
Great win and clementine is staying yeaaaaaaa 🍀🍀🍀
watching later imagine yang ang palma mixed into one...that would be some player...kyogo and engels were unreal today
Definitely the hardest place to go pitch weather etc

Fairly comprehensive in the end. Easy 7:30 AM watch. AJ’s position of “the entire right side of the pitch” suited him😂.

According to john Robertson we were lucky . He wasn't watching the same game us all .
Yes back up for Hatate
To inconsistent and gives the ball away
So feel comfortable if
He is sold
Kris Void on Sky is a joke, why does he get so much airtime? Daft question really cause we all know why - it's to pander to the blue pound!
He’s an absolute clown

Scales must have come on to add some much needed physicality on our left hand side.
Like McGowan

Matt did take penalties
