Andy should do love letters for vans. no one can ever replace grosso but he truly knows skate history and can tell a great story
bingo friend
Damn R. I. P. Grosso. But hell yeah get Andy in there
I bet Grosso would approve
Fuck, yes!
@kamalaharry9514lol
4 years is crazy
Godspeed Andy
Amen 🙏
This is the most composed and put together I’ve ever seen Andy. Although he will always be a skate rat pile in our eyes it’s good to see him add sobriety to his long list of fuckin awesome shit that makes him Andy Motherfuckin Roy🤘🏻
My man looks great at 52
You act like 52 is 72 lol - he looks 52 😂
Nah, with his past, he looks good for 52!

It's that prison dental.
@@jkuebler89Bam paid for his teeth from a very expensive dentist. Prison will simply pull your teeth out of infected. They don’t provide high quality fake teeth.
So happy & proud of Andy. I messed up on that fent and now got 10 days but guys like Andy give me hope.
sending well wishes from the uk man! i relapsed today but got a few days but im also on maintanance so got that to kick too hopefully it will go good for me and i can fully repair after 25 years of using something
Me too Andy boy! Oct 6 is 4 years for me. Proud of you big dog !!
Inspirational as always Andy! i`m going clean for 5 months now . Every now & then i would look up for your video to get some motivation.
100% Skateboarder
Wow, 4 years sober.... that's some serious time....( ' been through all this s?&t myself )..... keep it up Andy !!!
He nailed it! To surrender is the only way out.
Hell yeah...motivating for sure.
SF legend. So sick to see his life turned around. I romance the hardcore party SF days with Andy included, but understand you either move on or die sometimes. Good on him.
Bro I love Andy and I’m glad he’s doing well
Thank you for this.
So sick, Andy. It’s never too late to grow up just enough to be a solid ass dude. Well done!
one of the best up and coming podcasts.
wow he looks great. Im 48 and he was same age and quit everything. i even quit smoking cigarettes which was th3 hardest thing.i think as you age and approach 50 your mortality thoughts kick in and you want to stay alive. totally related to everything he said. respect Andy
These are great, proud of Andy!
This is amazing! Love to see it, such a legend
So glad to see he stuck with it. I grew up loving this dude in the early 90's.
I had a life changing illness in 2014 and almost died. It changed my perception of life.
Thank you for being been honest passionate man! Don't be afraid share your past !
Great conversation. Thanks guys.
"Tired of it and so beat up" ..... anyone who has an addiction/substance problem that has been hanging around for too long, give that statement some thought. Do the hard yards and you know you'll feel better for it.
The term "gift of desperation" just recently made sense to me. I could never had understood that 4 months ago. I'm now 120 days clean and my life is slowly getting better and happier than I ever thought I could be.
So happy for you Andy! We are all so proud of you man. Love🫡💙
You’re doing it Andy!!! Congratulations! Take it day by day, Homie…
Good to see him get his feet back under him. Good for him. Fight the good fight.
Fair play to Andy. Respect
Andy looks and sounds awesome! Inspiring
Yea Andy, git it!!!! So rad ❤
Glad to see you sober Andy. This version of you seems pretty cool. Take care.
So good
Four years of sobriety is an eternity. Coming up on four years myself age 52 as well....🤙
andy is luck to have been a good skater as he was younger. its really hard to leave drugs if you dont have a solid base of friends or family and something good to do professionaly with your life. im glad hes sober now, hope he can pass the word for the new generation about drug abuse as far as he can.
Love you Andy keep going 💪
Met this dude personally. A real genuine fucking human. Day by Day Andy 🤘
5 years later after quitting coke, alcohol and cigarettes myself. He's right, one day you wake up and its easy because like Andy said you're just tired of it all.
Congrats on your sobriety Andy.
Looks buff 💪
Good for him skating needs Andy Roy
he said it perfectly when he said ‘i surrender’ if you are not at the point of completely being beat down and wishing for death instead of waking up the next day you’re not ready and it won’t work it’s sad to say but it’s true if you’re just thinking you can quit you can’t
Andy is fucking jacked now
So happy he got sober
WE LOVE ANDY SOBER!
Never met Andy, but I'm proud as fuck of him
Stay blessed foo 3 years myself now
Fuck yeah, Andy. Rip till the wheels fall off.
He's 52! Damn looks awesome!
Get it Roy boy 🕸❤
Fuck yeah andy keep it real brother
Andys parents must be so proud of their son. Would love to see some footy.
🤘🤘
Bro has gotten jacked holy
Siiick 🤘
Robin eggs were the 7.5mg vicodins lol. I remember those. They had red speckles on a white egg shaped pill.
Nah those were like the worst ones i remember. I dont think they were 7.5. Maybe 2.5 😂
@@lloydchristmas1086 they made hydrocodone 2.5?
I thought the weakest were 5mg
@@lloydchristmas1086nope 7.5
OG 4 REAL.
Wish the interview went longer. Seems like something happened where they lost the second half.
Just watched the vice doc.....the contrast between then and now..... Doesn't seem like the same dude.
He needs to get on Theo Von’s podcast. I think they’d have an interesting convo.
damn that’d be a good one
👍
Good job Andy
3:16 is the key
"im 4 years sober"
"you miss that shit dont you"
2 months sober from coke i miss skating but im a family man now
How do i get in contact with andy roy to sponsor me
I'm so stoked for Andy. I'm coming up on 3 years. Unfortunately, this kid shouldn't be interviewing anyone. He doesn't know how to ask a question or what questions to ask. I had to turn it off. Too annoying/cringe.
I think he did fine: he asked insightful questions and let Andy talk 🤷♂️
😘
Couch
He quit right before the gov't started putting fentanyl in the Heroin. Lucky!
When I saw him on The Nine Club podcast, he looked like a totally different person. No homo, but he is a good-looking man when sober but too bad his ex didn't stick around. He relapsed in the beginning when he got clean and I guess it was too much for her.
Sometimes the damage and estrangement is permanent. I've been through it myself. They may still love you as a person and what you represented but aren't in love with you anymore and there's no way they can pursue a romantic relationship anymore. It's extremely painful. I've even known guys who have been divorced years into sobriety. Just because we get sober doesn't mean we aren't just as crazy. Sometimes crazier if your not looking after your mental and spiritual health.
It’s hard, sometimes you have to leave the one you love because of the addiction, I’m with someone who hid fenty addiction from me half our relationship, you try to love the person and know it’s a disease but then they don’t pay there bills, expect you to pay them so they can go blow 150$ a day! Then start asking you non stop for money so they are not sick etc. it’s pretty much impossible to stay with a opioid addict, it will push you to want to kill your self. I’m glad Andy is doing better! But let’s not shade any one that did not want to be with him while he was using, I’m sure he now that he is clean understands.
thats so sick to hear that the old metal mulisha dudes linked up with Andy to get sober lol. What a world
Andy got yoked up.
Cooked
King Kook
Looks like you got botox lol
But he relapsed 2 years ago..
why is this so celebrated
lol
all these dudes make this their personality and its annoying hearing it all the time
we get it
you couldnt handle drugs made a fool of yourself but the rest of us can handle them responsibly
Steven o is the biggest farce.
Yeah that’s the point dude, this person’s a real drug addict and it destroyed their life for most of their life…so yeah why would that not be celebrated that they finally got clean and changed their life?? Wtf does you or anyone else being able to do drugs safely and be fine have to do with anything lol
@@stephenscala3114 got "clean" lol
thats such a dumb saying
when theres CEO supermodel dudes doing lines off hookers on some yacht somewhere
this dude was forced to stop taking drugs bc he was cringe i guess
“Handle them responsibly” lol
Bro everytime i see that this guys still kickin i smile💯💯💯💯🫡🥂 andy roy u madman🤟🪬
