I think this is the most into I have seen them as a unit. They seem to be having a really good time. Sara Eve adds to this for sure and the drummer is all killer no filler. I think Sarah Maloney is a great fit.
Thanks for watching! I have more clips from their shows on my channel. Also, I'll be going to see them again on back-to-back nights in March, so I'll have more to post then!
The bass player is a stand in 'cause their usual bassist is a teacher and can't make all the tour dates. Sam the drummer has her own band she's concentrating on.
Hey this is Surf music dude. Its serious stuff! Check out any Surf band and you will hardly ever see a smile. Its a "cool" instrumental style and you have to be a fan of the Surf thing. Campy, tongue in cheek, fun and punk in some way before punk was even a thing. Just enjoy it for what it is and if you can't well then...
Jamesjameson4303, I’m 60 years old and have been playing bass for 25 years. I’ve been around the block a few times musically. The reality is these girls are musically competent but not setting any sort of new surf standards. There’s no Dick Dale here. I’ve seen many videos of surf bands from the 60’s and they were having rocking great times while visibly enjoying themselves.
@@trappenweisseguy27 If we are going to pound our chest with how old we are or how long we have been playing music then I have been a few times more around the block than you have. Heck I built the block! I have also played guitar for over 50 years! And in those years I have learned to appreciate sincerity as the most valuable asset in music. Maybe these ladies should only cater to blind audiences? Have you ever watched Messer Chups? Talk about tongue in cheek and stoic. So what. These ladies if you have ever seen them interviewed love surf music. They are certainly not looking at competing with Taylor Swift and being superstars or playing deep meaningful songs. And there's only ONE Dick Dale. Just because your standard for Surf bands is a bunch of people smiling doesn't mean its everyone's or that it diminishes the music if not. Plus there are a few videos of them smiling. I really don't get what all the fuss is about. It's Surf music not Bach! Not sure what Surf music style does to you but for me its just fun, humorous and light by itself. I do not need to see the musicians acting out histrionics. I listen and that's enough for me. I guess its not enough for some and I get that. Hey at least they're wearing the white GoGo boots! Enjoy.
The drummer is a fuckin machine. All my love for her.
I'll be going to see them again on back-to-back days in March!
@@MichiganLive Looking forward to the Sunday Ferndale show, myself.
@@RickImus The Loving Touch - I like that place!
Excellent bass player. Sam Maloney is such a beast on drums it's unreal.
Coolest band ever
I've got a playlist on my channel with many other clips from their shows, please take a look! Thanks for watching! :)

I'm going to see them again twice, on back-to-back days, in March! I have a playlist of more clips of them on my channel. Thanks for watching!

Way Mo Good! As always, great band.
Warm Up and Roller Fink. Towards the end of the tour, The Surfrajettes varied the running order. I know they added Malaguena on at least one occasion.
Nicole is GOD!
I've got a playlist on my channel with more clips from their shows; check it out! Thanks for watching!

Hitting on all cylinders.
This drummer and bassist seem pretty good, why didn't you want to keep them?

I don’t think I’ve ever seen these girls, in any of their iterations, smile and show enjoyment on stage.
There's always one who has to post a negative comment.

I'm only into this band because of Shermy's legs, I haven't actually listened to them yet 😍
Can Shermy's legs talk?
She has thick thighs
What is the first tune that's played (up to 2:00) I'd love to know
Warm up
Hi Sherby!
The music is shite but thighs and boots are delightful
too much reverb
Reverb is their middle name
hi fantastica XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
