To anyone who wants a high salary and great benefits, GNWT comes at top in this category. The average salary for gnwt employees are 100k plus they have their provincial nomination program which would be great if someone wants their pr. Cons: Extreme cold weather High cost of living but that can be covered by Northern Allowance The hiring process could take up to one year for certain positions. Currently i am at last stage of hiring process i.e reference check for an IT job. As of now it has been 7 months since i applied and still counting the days.
Not only the wages could be the same, but on the Government side, what I realized after joining that there are more deductions from your pay cheque, i.e. Union dues, etc
Hi Sheetal, they mention all the requirements in the job posting so read the posting thoroughly before applying. The eligibility depends on the type of job you’re applying for as they hire for pretty much all the sectors from Customer Services to HR to Audit. Some jobs require bachelors or higher level of studies and some years of work experience but there are also types of jobs that only require completion of college and NO work experience. Isn’t it great? Not sure if you’ve watched this video already, but if you haven’t it’ll give you more insight on the topic :) th-cam.com/video/gQ2_r4Jash0/w-d-xo.html

Hi I M from India and I am 38 years old. Experienced civil engineer. How’s the scope for civil engineers in government job there and can I apply without any PR ? I am looking out for sponsorship jobs
Hi. I was earning 70k in private sector and recently got selected in the similar position in government but realised that they offer 51k- 58k with the benefits that I was already getting in private sector like all health benefits, vacation of 3 weeks but no pension in private. I am not sure if I should join the government job or not as it’s way lower than my last private job. What do u advice ?
Can i ask you a question .all government job will get fixed amount of pension ? If you get a government job before 30 , until which period u will get the service like in India? Any one please reply. All government job are permanent .
Hey Alisha....I am always delighted to you on a screen. well, I asked you earlier as well but my innate curiosity does not stop me asking you regarding the lucrative scope of US CPA in canada initially untill it gets converted in CPA Canada being a permanent resident
Hey Himadri, thank you so much and sorry I missed your comment earlier. As far as US CPA is concerned, I do see alot of opportunities for internationally trained accountants in Canada even before they get converted to CPA Canada. The opportunities might not be as great as CPA Canada but there are opportunities. When I moved to Canada, I was an ACCA member (didn’t have any idea of how to become a CPA member) and on that basis I was able to land a job. Hope this helps 💕
Hey Sara, I highly believe ap khud settle ho saktey ho. Even if you have someone’s support, people are so busy here that they’ll only support you for a few days aur uske baad you’ll have to figure things out yourself. So don’t rely on someone ❤️
