    Lovely cards as always. I shouldn't be surprised by what you got out of the paper pad because you've shown us so many times what is possible, but I always am. Thank you for sharing again.

    Yea! Another fabulous tutorial using a bright and flowery kit. You're right - getting the materials in a kit assures that everything goes together. I also like the use of mats to make the colors show even more. Super job!

    Hi Kristie, so I just went to Queen for a day event today and it was fabulous. We got to make tons of fun shaker cards and I bought the love jar kit there. As usual u love your videos and I'm going to do my best to get 40 cards out of it lol.....it's so not easy to do, you make it look way easy, but I sit down and I'm like holy moly how does she do it. Lol, you rock!!!!!

    Would really love too see u use them on a video😍🙏🏻 if u can and like- No stress or feeling like u have to i just wanted to tell u what i wish to see in the future🌸❤️ still love all videos and have gotten some of the paperpads u have used!😃 got the cat one😅 it was soo cute😍

      Papercraft Moon I don’t mind requests for future videos. I’m trying to look at using products I may normally overlook or not be aware of. I actually have been searching for some First Edition paper pads. Is there a specific collection you are interested in me using?
      I’ve never used any Kaisercraft paper pads before either. No promises, but I will check out their collections. 🙂

      Kristie Marcotte oooh :D i can come with a lot of requests ;) hhihihihi
      Hmm First edition then i have a few favoriter Wild at heart (bit older so may be hard to get) But the two newest Lets celebrate and Botanical beauty are so pretty and i really would love to see how u would use them becauae i have No Idea where ti start xD
      And Kaisercraft pads i didnt like them in the begining But im just in love with their papers now!!! The 6-1/2 x6-1/2 pads come with one sides papers and some have structure or foil and there is some die cuts in the back
      😃 oh and First edition have also foil and some other things on half of thr papers and dubble sided on the other half 😃🌸i think u Will love them ;) or i hope u will😅

    In your sketches you have measurements. Are those the measurement of the mat or the designer paper? (Love your videos!)

    • @KristieMarcotte
      @KristieMarcotte  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Marilyn Otte Thank you! The measurements I list are for the designer papers. Then I add 1/8” for the matted layers. Although I do alter the sketches all the time for what will work best with the papers I have available. 😊

    Another Wonderful set of cards! I love watching the color combos you come up with. I also love this paper pad you used. Question... do you buy your white card bases pre-folded or do you cut and fold a mass amount for your stash?

    • @KristieMarcotte
      @KristieMarcotte  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Jeni Syverson Thank you! I appreciate your kindness.
      I buy a full case of heavy weight cardstock at a local paper company. I pay the company to cut all the paper in half for card bases. (I end up with 3200 card bases after they are cut.) Then I score and fold the card bases at home. 😊

    • @KristieMarcotte
      @KristieMarcotte  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Denise Scherer Thank you! I used some inks from Reverse Confetti and MFT. I probably should have written down the exact colors, but I think this is what I used. Reverse Confetti - Midnight, Parakeet, Flamingo, and Buttercup. MFT - Blue Breeze and Pink Lemonade. 🙂

  • @ellaconner9452
    @ellaconner9452 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Love them! Thank goodness for the Misti, lol! Btw do you have your magnets covered on the Misit? Also, when you give cards as gifts do you stamp a sentiment on the inside or leave them blank? I’m gifting some and that’s why I’m asking. Thanks💖

    • @KristieMarcotte
      @KristieMarcotte  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Ella Conner Thank you! I covered the MISTI magnets with a piece of washi tape. It’s easier to separate them when they get stuck together.
      If I give cards as a gift, I leave the inside blank. I usually just keep the inside blank until I decide what I’ll be doing with each card. However, my mom likes to use my cards and she requests a sentiment inside. (Less writing for her) 🙂

      @KristieMarcotte  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Heather G Hello! The kit is really a lot of fun, especially with the Bug Jar Add on. Sorry for the delayed response. I had to go through my inks to verify the exact colors. I used Reverse Confetti’s Parakeet and Buttercup inks. And I also used MFT’s Blue Breeze and Pink Lemonade inks. 🙂

    Doesn’t it get monotonous & boring making so many cards & so many the same over & over & over? Making cards is my greatest passion but this type of mass production would take all the fun & creativity out of the project. I adore the 6 x 6 paper pads but l do like one of a kind, personal cards. I love to have the recipient in mind as l craft mine. They feel special receiving them, knowing that’s the way l do it. True, l want get as many cards made but that’s just the way l roll. I treasure the time l have to craft & l love coming up with new & original designs. Are you trying to break a record or what. Maybe you make so many so can sell them. Whatever, enjoy your time & don’t get burnt out. Life is so short.

    • @KristieMarcotte
      @KristieMarcotte  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Katherine Haught Hello. I appreciate your concern about me getting bored with crafting. 🙂 I originally started crafting this way when I was donating cards to Operation Write Home. Even after the organization closed its doors in 2015, I still continued to use 6x6 paper pads and finish them completely before starting a new one. It is just how I generally craft and I really enjoy it. I don’t try to make as many cards as possible, I simply keep using the paper pad until it is basically gone. Even though I make multiples, I still have at least 8-12 different sketch styles with every paper pad. I also make individual cards, but I usually only share those on my blog. I donate the majority of my cards to several local charities and retirement homes. Sometimes up to 100 every month, so it helps to have a good supply of cards on hand. One thing I love about the crafting industry is the wide variety of different styles amongst crafters. There is always a ton of inspiration available. 🙂
