i just removed my tank from my 1991 NA sw20. everything is stock. would i use the -6AN to 1/4 and -6AN 5/16 still? or is thos only for bigger fuel lines for a more powerful motor?
@@warrenpeas Yes, they will fit the factory hard lines. Use scotch bright pad or sand paper to remove the paint on the hard line like Dre did in the video. Easiest to do when tank removed. Super hard when the tank is in. If you plan to run boost/high HP, consider going fuel cell instead; cause the factory hard line is quite small.
The return hard line was smaller than my feed so the -6 AN compression fitting just slid right over the top without tightening. Do I use -4 or smaller compression fitting? Didn’t have any issue with feed though
Thank you for the great videos and it really helps for my build. Quick question, I bought my SW20 rolling shell and I believed it already has a walbro fuel pump after a previous owner removed his 3SGTE engine out after. Do I need to replace it or keep it as it is. Thanks again
Thank you for the support of my TH-cam channel and I really appreciate the kind words. Personally I would remove it if your doing a fresh build, you don’t know how long it was sitting and one thing o have learned is to never trust the world of someone that is selling you a car. I would remove it and just install a hellcat fuel pump and call it good.
@@DresRacingChannel went ahead and got the walbro 255lph. I was also wondering for that fitting/connecter for AN, some say for 5/16 hard lines and some say 3/8. Which one did you use? You got em off Amazon?
For those looking to do this. You'll need an -6AN to 1/4 tubing/hardline for the return and -6AN to 5/16 tubing/hardline for the feed. Enjoy

@@PNWBoosted just trying to get my shit running. But I cut some old lines to remove the tank so maybe I should do this

you should be able to use the -6line
Do the other 2 lines stay un used ? Im about to follow this guide but don't see u say anything about the other 2 lines
This other 2 lines are not used!
If I wanted to upgrade the wiring to be hardwired do I need to drop the tank again?
what do you mean to be hard wired?
Are you able to change the fuel pump without taking the whole tank out?
no you have to remove the tank.. its fairly easy to do honestly!

@@DresRacingChannel That's a true fact. Thank you boss
What fuel pump would you recommend for a mild street build NA 240whp to mild boost no more than 450hp?
255 walbro or you can use one of the hellcat pumps
@@DresRacingChannel cool thnx man

With these -6 lines how much power do you think it'll be the max? -6 feed & return? Thank you
600 plus easily with the right supporting mods
What size are those An fittings?
