My mom and I flew with Delta Airlines back in 2019. I flew on their A350 and it was a nice experience onboard. Unfortunately, the A350 flight from Seattle to Tokyo was delayed for more than 3 hours due to technical issues on that aircraft. Because of that flight delay, we missed our Delta flight to Manila which left us no choice but to rebook an alternate flight to Manila with All Nippon Airways.

We flew Delta on the exact same route!! We landed and got to our hotel the day France won the World Cup a few years ago. When we booked it we said wouldn't it be a kick if they won!!! It was magical!!! I remember the food being pretty good on both trips. I tend to always get the vegetarian choice because I tend to not like the meat choice !! It tastes like plastic. Your video had beautiful shots of the sunrise and the airports. I don't fly often so I love to watch these.

The thing i like most about your videos over some others is you usually fly coach aft of the wing. You also show the flap movemnts. Another great video. That is why Amanda and i always hit a fast food joint before boaring to grab a burger or slice of pizza to take on board. Just in case the inflight meal is no bueno. That said we usually chose Delta for international travel. We have flown Air Europa once (which i found them very good). But we tend to stick with Delta as they seem very consistent.

I flew this a350 from dtw to ams ( round trip ) in premium select. During normal times, premium select gets almost delta one food. Instead we got economy food which made my stomach feel on fire. Seat was amazing though
For what I've read, Delta has just reinstated the food service they used to have before the pandemic from the 1st of April. I hope you've enjoyed this Trip Report! Lots of US flights are coming in the next weeks/months! Finally, after all the restrictions and bans for EU travellers, I was able to fly to the US as planned 2 years ago :))
Buen vídeo, lastima que no se haya podido disfrutar de grandes vistas pero quizás lo que mas me ha impresionado es lo grande que es el Aeropuerto de Atlanta y también ya voy aprendiendo las diferencias entre los modelos de aviones que he visto y cómo curiosidad me ha llamado mucho la atención en Atlanta el baño de caballeros que estuviese rotulado en español pensé que solo habría las indicaciones en ingles . How nice to have your doggie peeing or poopie there 🤣 (I missed the litterbox for cats tough 😾) Do many pax travel with their pets in the cabin? I've never seen it but I know some carriers allow as long as the pet carrierbag can be stowed under the seat in front of you.
Delta is for me definitely the best US Carrier for long haul flights but the chicken looks😨 - uneatable🤮🤮🤮! Nice plane, cool cabin interieur and ATL is MEGA, especially by night!👍 GREAT video as always!😎

Es un viaje muy largo, mira mi caso, yo he ido a Europa por KLM saliendo de la Ciudad de Panamá a la Ciudad de Amsterdam, el vuelo duró casi 11 horas, el viaje fue muy largo y agotador y lo peor de todo que el avión que abordé estaba llenos de pasajeros y no habia espacio para la comodidad. Yeah I found food on US airlines not edible quite a few times :) I don't like my meal to be wet in liquid like yours, which seemed to not have been microwaved the right way. UA, AA, DL all have an excellent hard product, it's just their catering service that prevents them from being top airlines

If they would invest more in the catering quality service they could become amazing airlines... they have it all: new fleet, nice frequent pax programs, nice hubs... but no, they are not.

Food service looked very disappointing. They were so good before Covid. It seems they have you less than the average economy long haul now. When I did an 8 hour with them they give an apparetief, 2 full meals, one snack meals and a coffee and cookie service.
My first trip to Europe in the early 80's I was dead asleep but the FA thought it was more important to wake me up to eat dinner than just leaving me alone! So here I am half awake and I open up the meal not expecting it to be steaming hot so I took a bite and burned my mouth really badly, I was not HAPPY 😠 I guess she thought she was doing the right thing, but I didn't but oh well 💩 happens. Lesson learned🥸
That chicken did look awful! Other than that this looked like a really nice flight. The landing and taxiing to the gate was filmed superbly.... and that was some good planespotting!! I have a family member that lives in the Atlanta area and although I've flown there many times, I just hadn't really noticed how huge ATL is until your Delta takeoff. I cannot wait to finally fly get back to Europe (Italy) this Summer as it seems much longer than these past few years. Thank you for your travels and videos☆☆☆
When I fly internationally, I always try to fly the national airline of the country I am visiting. They generally have a better onboard experience than US based airlines.

I have never seen an animal toilet, it's funny. How is it possible at night that you see something in the camera? I never flew with Delta. But was the dinner really so bad? It was a good trip. I am looking forward to the USA flights...

Well, AirFleets says they have 19. That's always my main source.
It says 2 new were registed in Feb/2022.

Food service looked very disappointing. They were so good before Covid. It seems they have you less than the average economy long haul now. When I did an 8 hour with them they give an apparetief, 2 full meals, one snack meals and a coffee and cookie service.

Mainly because it's the main hub of Delta, which is one of the biggest airlines in the world.

My first trip to Europe in the early 80's I was dead asleep but the FA thought it was more important to wake me up to eat dinner than just leaving me alone! So here I am half awake and I open up the meal not expecting it to be steaming hot so I took a bite and burned my mouth really badly, I was not HAPPY 😠 I guess she thought she was doing the right thing, but I didn't but oh well 💩 happens. Lesson learned🥸
The shots of the wing during sunrise were incredible, one of the best filmed trip reports I’ve seen in a while!

That chicken did look awful! Other than that this looked like a really nice flight. The landing and taxiing to the gate was filmed superbly.... and that was some good planespotting!! I have a family member that lives in the Atlanta area and although I've flown there many times, I just hadn't really noticed how huge ATL is until your Delta takeoff. I cannot wait to finally fly get back to Europe (Italy) this Summer as it seems much longer than these past few years. Thank you for your travels and videos☆☆☆

When I fly internationally, I always try to fly the national airline of the country I am visiting. They generally have a better onboard experience than US based airlines.
As a passenger I would chose to fly on A350's only if possible until Airbus comes up with something even better.

I saw a A320 flying from Atlanta to paris I was like … then I saw it flies 11 hours I was like oh nvm
I've always had a positive experience with Delta! Having flown with them a couple of times transatlantic cannot wait to fly with them again.
