Just watched Racing Extinction on Discovery Channel. In most parts of the documentary, I cried. But the ending, with this song, just totally got me. I cried not for myself, I cried for the generations to come. I hope they'll still see earth as we see it now...I hope it will be better.

you cannot protect the environment unless you empower people, you inform them, and you help them understand that these resources are their own, that they must protect them.. the environment is in us, not outside us. the trees are our lungs and the rivers are our bloodstream, we are all interconnected, and what you do to the environment, ultimately you do to yourself.. we need to all stop living on this planet as if we had another one to go to, because with out a healthy planet, there isn't a healthy anything. I will stand up and be apart of the change I wish to see in this world.
