I updated and everything went smooth as silk. Everything working perfectly included. The BT24
Bluetooth should have been built into every unit; $140 for adding BT is ridiculous. i've had nothing but troubles with the BT-24 i purchased in late 2021 for my DM-608. in troubleshooting back in early 2022 the Audio Control tech thought the problems i was having was in the DM-608, so sent it to them yet the problems continued after receiving. had many car troubles which delayed further testing until late 2023/early 2024, when another tech determined the troubles was with the BT-24. i've been waiting for Audio Control to get one in stock to replace mine. still waiting. this entire process has been EXTREMELY frustrating.
I forgot to mention the other reason I am waiting for independent crossovers. I have a D6.1200. I want to power a 3-way front stage, front sub, and rear sub. Currently, to still use a front sub WITH THE D6.1200, I have to run a 2-way front stage and front sub off of the D6.1200, and use the output to the rear sub only. If every channel, including the outputs, were independent I could do my intended installation.
Not software but please guys, fix the wire terminals! Way to small and the connectors vibrate out, wire terminals and the Bluetooth module. Such a great product with such a huge flaw that could be so easily fixed!
That is a You problem. The connectors DO lock in. I have to pry mine out.

I agree. The idea of the phoenix connectors is good, it just needs to be implemented better. It’s very difficult to get even 14 awg ofc with wire ferrules
Into the phoenix connectors. It’s much more difficult than it should be. Also, the phoenix connectors are also just a little bit fragile. The screws to tighten them down require tiny Phillips head also. Annoying.
And Bluetooth should be built into every single one of these units. The idea that you have to spend $140 MORE bucks to get a BT module that probably costs $3 wholesale is fucking bullshit.
@@kilgoretrout4461 i FULLY agree with you! i purchased a BT-24 module for my DM-608 in 2022. i've had so many problems since & after sending in the DM-608 on the tech's recommendation, it was returned & worked with another tech who concluded the problems i've had are with the BT-24. i've been trying to get Audio Control to replace it & they say they don't have any - it's now 2024 & i'm STILL waiting to get it replaced!!! the entire process has been EXTREMELY frustrating.
New dm 810 owner, how is everyone liking the new software? Is it good?
When I use a 1 kilohertz tone to check the maximum volume of my stereo I turn it up to volume 40 without distortion but when I play music I get distortion on the DSP from my stereo when I play any type of music I use audio control d-4.800I use the galaxy s21 ultra cell phone and I use an app or I also use TH-cam premium that I pay for, I set the 1 kilohertz tone
Will this make it sound better with updates i had a dm608 installed a couple weeks ago

@@JrGarcia-dn6mp I know they say you can update without deleting but it wouldn't be a bad thing to do I went ahead and deleted it then downloaded the new version and installed takes a minute. I certainly am loving the DSP. Takes a while to get the EQ set to where you want but all the other stuff is a little easier and straightforward
I upgraded the front speakers with a JL audio C2 component set And man that really made a difference The EQ really lets you fine-tune them to just the right spot I would RTA it. but don't have the kind of money to get a proper one to only use it a couple times

The only feature I am waiting for is fully independent channels. Time alignment, level, and EQ are independent, but crossovers are still paired. I have ran into situations where paired left and right made it difficult to choose an optimal crossover. Then I had to use the EQ to compensate. I shouldn’t have to compensate.

@@bailey2517 why are the left and right EQs different? Electrical crossovers are not the same as acoustic crossovers. Acoustic crossovers are what really matter. A 24db linkwitz electrical crossover could actually be an 18db, or even 12db crossover acoustically. When you start tuning to a curve you find that one speaker might follow the curve better with an 18db buttersworth crossover and the other follows the curve better with a 24db linkwitz (that is what happened to me). With the crossovers linked/paired, I have to choose ONE crossover and then use the EQ to correct the other speaker. That takes up EQ bands that should be used for getting the measured response closest to the desired curve. RAW-CAT and PSSound have talked about this, but Five Star doesn’t really touch on this level of fine tuning.
@@bailey2517 I forgot to mention the 2 output channels. If I could set the output channels as separate mono outputs, I could use my D6.1200 for a 3-way front stage, rear sub, AND a front sub. With the output crossover being paired I can not do dual mono outputs.

Do NOT update. I now have a very expensive doorstop. Zero output from my D4. 800 since update.
Me to brotha my dm810 ain't powering on .just stopped powering on
@@JrGarcia-dn6mp software has nothing to do with the hardware powering on. However, if you do not have a signal output, that would be software related.
Make sure you channels are not linked. My D6 has been flawless since the first BETA.
@gonzoe123 it's working now ,wen I tested the remote wire it didn't have 12v ,I charged both batteries up it powers on now , but wen I turn it up loud it cuts off wen I lower it a little it goes back on .. would this be a ground issue or batter (power)apreaciate any input u may have brotha ..I also i haven't done the update on it yet 🤔.

Works for after updating the d-6.1200. Also make sure the app on your phone is updated
Not anymore. Works perfectly. That’s the whole point of the update.
I updated my d1300.5 and it no longer works . I’ve tried everything to fix it but nothing works . I’m very disappointed
