Stop this character assassination and spreading rumours of a departed soul... These are all tales frm sources which never had any proofs or substantial evidence... The only one thing which was true was about her relation wth Raj Singh Dungarpur which again we never know what kind of relation it was. Again it was rumours abt them being romantically involved.... That was an era when people hid their feelings for years n remained friends forever... but since Lataji passed away every1 is talking more abt her personal life rather her work.

Salamat Ali Khan used to call Lata Mangeshkar 'Didi' which means sister, and you are saying they had a love affair what nonsense. Lata was 5 years older than Ustad. She was born in 1929 and Ustad was born in 1934. Just for views don't make up stories have some shame.

This is not a love story of Shafqat Khan. It is about the love of Ustad Salamat Ali Khan
And Shafqat is calling this love story nonsense that his father Salamat Ali Khan himself told me nonsense.

It’s a fake story. Lata Mangeshkar mentioned that she had also heard about this story. She was to marry Rajsingh Dungarpur, who was a royal prince of Rajasthan but the marriage could not happen. Broken due to this, both of them did not marry forever then. BBC is known for cooking up unverified stories.
