Hi Ted, another excellent video. You gotta stop being too hard on yourself buddy ... I think that the Willy's turned out very well. Most folks would be delighted and proud ... you should be too. Have a good weekend and keep building and sharing your stories.
Great update! That Corvette looks amazing, sorry to see you had that kind of problem with the Novus, I didn't think it would do something like that to a painted surface. Camaro looks cool.
Awesome builds we all have them days I still got one from 1989 that I had put back in the box do to it not coming out the way I wanted it to saw a pro mod Corvette on TV and tried to copy that body keep pushing forward
Oh shock horror😲. I was enjoying the update then saw the front end. I hope you can flat that back🤞Camaro looks good 👍. Best wishes from jolly old England 👍😎Pete 🤓
@@petesmodelcarcustoms584 I just got done spraying more clear on it, looks much better. After it cures I'll decide if I want to sand it and clear it one more time or leave it alone.
The AMT 33 Willys is always a challenge. The flip nose just won't work, or if it does, the hood doesn't fit at the firewall. I think the problem might be that the body sits a bit too far back on the frame
I like the Willys. You always see the 41. Just start slowly on the Vette body. Check often. May need to apply a little more clear. LOVE the green. I'll be watching
@@shotdowninflames3466 it's not a kit, just a resin cast body and mostly scratch built chassis. I think I have the front end saved, wet sanded it out and recleared it.
Ted, we just talked about a build giving you fits..My Butch Leal 71 Duster on the Forum gave me hell..The 34 looks pretty good to me.I love those gold wheels..The Scotty Cannon is outstanding..I hope you can wet sand the adhesive off..Again your skills never stop to amazing me..Btw, we went testing new Top Sportsman white Camaro that sent you pics..She ran 3.98@191 four times in a row..We weren't pushing it hard.
@@mhenderson1000 yea they can try our patience for sure. It was actually the fish eyes that I need to sand out, I'm spraying another coat of clear now, looks like it should be ok. Congratulations on the test session, do you ever run 1/4 mile? Impressive for sure.
@modelcarmadness5119 Yeah, we have a blue 1968 Top Sportsman Nitrous car also..We run NHRA Division 4 and National events..We run the white car in quarter mile maybe later in the year or next year..The blue car has run as quick as 6:30@219 in the quarter mile.
Really like the Scotty Cannon corvette..pretty cool build!
Great update. Ron

Your builds are badass ,bud!!
Just found your channel. Enjoyed seeing the progress! Those of the type cars I like to build.
@@W4UWC thanks, I build 95 percent drag cars and a few street rods.
Great video, your scratch building skills are amazing.
I like the Camaro chop top.

@@LarrysModelShop I don't know, maybe it has silicone in it. I pretty much have it straightened out now though.

@@modelcarmadness5119 well that sounds encouraging,Ted. Good luck with it.🤞. The flames look great,it would be a shame to loose them

@@Reds_Scrapyard I agree, this one was a resin body and scratch built chassis but still hard to get everything to work and fit in the narrow nose.
💚Green seen , bad ass 🤜🤛 like it, hey man, nothing is perfect even life

What kit is that Pro Street Vette? Bummer about the hood.

All good projects. That green Willys isn't that bad - I've built much worse ! LOL. Subbed ! 👍
