Finally a video from someone who looks like they have done this before, does not show us errors and the whole unscrewing process in real time and films it on a white surface , not a table with a crack in the middle where you can loose a screw. Good job.
Hi Joe! Do you still offer back glass repair for the Samsung Frontier S3 Frontier? Mine is damaged just like the one in the video. Thank you in advance, cheers! Rob
We appreciate your positive feedback. Please like, subscribe and share the video. We do sell back glass by request. Let me know what model S3 you have and I can let you know if we have the product. -David P
I was given one that did the exact same thing after 2 years. So I am replacing the glass myself and hope the charger doesn't get hot enough to do that again
hi Joe can yu tell me where I can find the rear cover gasket ? I've see on video You re-assembly the back cover without change the gasket in my case the gasket is lost because broked during disassembly
After this repair and using said glue will the watch still be semi water resistant (I know it won't have what it probably used to but at least resistant enough for washing hands?)
Thanks for the comment. If the watch is assembled properly with an adequate amount of glue, the watch will be water-resistant. B7000 is a water-resistant adhesive. May not be factory IPX rated but close. -David P
Mate, Thanx for helping me. My watch was only 1 month old when i shattered its rear glass from the two diodes right in the middle. I Believe this happened whilst charging overnight. Anyway, no one would help, not the store, nor Samsung, and not even extra warranty covered it. I never dropped it and it was unwearable because the shards of glass sticking out from the middle to the edges. Terrible service from samsung australia and JB HiFi. Never shop with them again. But i found your site and help excellent. I ended up getting a complete back and glass so all i had to do it to change it over without removing the sticky charging adhesive. Working like a charm and i can finally wear this watch. Its a bad design, by a average company with terrible service downunder. 3 cheers to ya Mate !!!
Hi, I hope you can still answer a question of mine: my glass broke like yours did. If I keep it like this, will the watch still be resistant to sweat from my arm etc? I make sure it never gets really wet, I hope it will keep working without having to fix it. What do you think?
Thanks for watching! Depending on the size of the crack depends on the danger, but it is still more vulnerable than a non-cracked screen. This could very easily lead to problems in the future, but it is understandable because the repair cost can get high. If you feel like you can do the repair, here is a link to a new screen: bit.ly/2KeejB3 . CH
I have a gear s2 that I'm trying to replace the back glass on. The glass actually didn't break. It's like the adhesive just wore off and the back glass slipped off. The wireless charging connection is still all perfectly attached to the original housing. Would it be ok to just glue the replacement glass onto the original housing? I've tried unscrewing the back but the screws are on pretty tight and I don't want to strip them. But I just thought with everything still connected fine, if gluing the glass on would work ok?
Thanks for watching! We currently do not sell the replacement screens for the S2. We do work on them though, if you want it repaired you can fill out a repair form here: JoesGE.com/pages/repair-services

Hi, I have the s2 and the glass cracked. Can it be changed like the above? I have tried the samsung repair centres and to repair is almost the cost of a completely new watch. Please help. Where can I get/order the glass in South Africa as the link you sent to others says sold out?
Thanks for watching! It can be fixed similar to the one above, unfortunately if we are sold out you would have to wait until more became available. We suggest checking Amazon or eBay for a replacement.

Hey Isaiah, thanks for checking out our channel! This repair could fix your heart rate sensor. If the glass is extremely shattered it may be preventing the heart rate monitor from working properly. MD.
Thanks for watching! We do recommend using the B-7000 as it is what we also use in our repairs. But there should be no harm in trying another glue if you already have it. CH
@@Joesge I ordered a replacement that came with a water proof adhesive piece also, but your videos show using that glue. I was just curious if there was something special about the b7000 that would keep the watch waterproof? Thank you!
It is water tight but also can be removed using heat, so if you need a repair done you can easily access the area, That is why we use B-7000 specifically. CH
Thanks for watching! If the watch is not charging as quickly as it should be or is getting very hot and the battery also dies quickly, that could mean you have a faulty battery, or that the main logic board is damaged in the watch. Did you use authentic parts when replacing the backing of your watch? Matt D.

Mine has not cracked again. But i let it sit 5 or 10 mintues before putting on the charger. And i never leave the charger plugged in just in lol.
But now thw battery has crapped out and doesnt stay charged a day. and im sure its bulged becase the back glass has separated a little
Hi, will the watch remain water resistant after making the repair
If you don't damage the seal, then yes.
