i am Italian and when i was in my early teen (first half of the 80s) a friend of mine in his early 20s lent me some LP to listen and eventually copy on cassettes... and one day he gave me a boxset (a rare thing back then, i mean just the concept of the boxset, reserved for classical music and few other things) and that was the original Boxset with the full discography of Nick Drake!
I fell in love with the man immediately! I didn't know that nick was already dead, by then.
I will always be grateful to that friend that borrowed me such a gem to enjoy so early in my life!
So Nick Drake has been one of my favourits in the last almost 40 yrs, I consider myself fortunate and happy for this!
Hey Todd! So glad you discovered Nick Drake! My friend and I found out about him back in 1984 when we discovered an article about him in a magazine. We have been nuts about him ever since. So enjoyable.

Interesting fact about this album: Island Records had no idea he had even recorded it. He just showed up at their office one day with the master tucked in his arm like a school book and said "here you go."
