Here's the explanation 👇 Th short story, “Woh,” (“that one”) which depicts an encounter between a young female doctor( Safina, but currently works at girl's school ) and a prostitute in her clinic who suffers from a venereal disease ( a sexually transmitted disease and she had no nose but two raw, gaping holes stood in it's place. & lost her one eye). A prostitute who has a been 'cursed' with a mortal illness that happens to be killing her slowly, nobody likes her because of her profession ( prostutitute) that she chose to be. Everyone avoids her ,even the doctor when she appeared at the hospital for the treatment. This short story simply shows that People always judge according to their perspective whether it's acceptable or not. Especially, for disabled people, most of the time we feel disgust while looking at them , we make them feel uncomfortable with our eyes, we don't like them & even make it obvious that we don't like them. This is what happening in the story as well with the prostitute, people are avoiding because she's prostitute, she sells her body and those who don't know about her profession they also avoid her because of her appearance (disgusting body, ugly face) which is deteriorating day by day. The prostitute has been outcast and has been enduring insult by numerous people for a long time. She is stigmatised and marginalized by society. Because we people who live in a society, don't want them to be around us so that we don't feel disgust( घिन आना). We feel good when this kind of people don't be around us. And just because we don't like them , we want them to stay away from us. . . . . [ It's a short story from "Literature and disability" we're mainly studying about the disability, we need to be compassionate, kind, loveable, towards disabled people because we've already read that those who are able bodied (perfect body) aren't always having the same body. maybe they'd abruptly become one of the disabled people. Nobody knows]. . . I hope you guys have understood the short story. Happy learning!!! 📚✨💕💯

Is Prostitute wrong or not in this drama?? Mam
She's right at her place, it's the people who are treating her badly because of her profession she chose & her appearance, the way she looks.
