While India has some of the best and clean beaches in the world, Zuhu is never a prime beach destination for Indians. They go to Goa or the Islands, Kerala, etc for that.
But for tourist who visit Mumbai they mainly went to juhu as many locals and taxi driver suggested this beach for one of the tourist spot. But then again no bad comments for any country I just explain the situation some people made at that point.
@@anikahaque27 Yeah, some, if not all, taxi drivers there do suggest that. But for middle class travellers (like all of you and us ) or for sea lovers, there are other more popular, prime and more beautiful destinations that they go to. Infact, Mumbai itself is not a 'beach' (that sandy type) destination at all. Zuhu....umm no. Not really a big destination, in the equivalent sense of Cox Bazaar's importance in B'desh as a beach place (as the biggest and most famous beach in B'desh). Zuhu is mainly frequented by blue collar workers and all. It's more like a local spot for them and not a 'tourist' spot. [no disrespect to them, though:)]
@jrs2002 I got you 😉 this is my first trip to Mumbai so just cover some famous spots next time I will research more about this.
@@anikahaque27 I'd suggest you to visit Kerala, Goa or the Andamaan/Lakshadweep Islands, if you like sea. They all are very very popular and the Islands especially are the replacement of Maldives, some of the beautiful white sand blue water beaches in the world and have got tags by UN in the list of world's cleanest and serene beaches.

Juhu Beach is dirty..as a Bengali from kolkata when we think about beach, we prefar Goa...or Lakshadweep or Andaman...Lakshadweep is cleanest beach in india. We always avoid JUHU 🤮
