    Thank you! Very informative. I'm glad it's an easy fix. Older Fords required removing the wheel well cover.

    I see green fluid around ac compressor area, I think the compressor is leaking, is the green oil in compressor the same as refrigerant? Can I just keep adding it like your video until I get it fixed? (AC still cold but after driving I smell clutch burning smell)

    Hi, today the garage filled my ac on mij Ford focus 2012 EU model.
    But I saw him do this on the crane in the front of the bumper (red tube) and put a blue tube on the side where the timing belt is located. Is this correct?

    I have Ford focus st 2016, should I recharge it to 40 PSI as well?

    • @bengrogan9710
      @bengrogan9710 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Almost all AC systems are 40PSI

  • @garethwilliams3819

    Tip for the second can, weigh the full can first, then fill the ACC. Weigh the can after. Should tell you how much you've used

    • @richardgraham3658
      @richardgraham3658 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@gerardsherry9022 there is no drain you evacuate it into a certified recovery tank and use a manifold set to evacuate it into said tank sort of the reverse of the video or if you have a partially empty or completely empty can you could evacuate it into that. With the vehicle off

  • @nicksturk471

    All I need to know is what pressure should it be at

    • @richardgraham3658
      @richardgraham3658 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I Googled it and it said anywhere from 35 PSI to 55 PSI which is the the range of the green part of the gauge. In the video he was refilling the entire capacity of the system obviously because they were doing work on it if you are just topping yours off you should use between 1/3 to 1/2 of a can

    Il love to ask the guy the made this car why put the low side in a shit place on the diesel model

    • @richardgraham3658
      @richardgraham3658 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Because they're crooked and they don't want you to do it at home they want you to come to their shop and pay the exorbitant price that is why the service port that the dealers use is right in the front so it's easier and takes less time for them

    • @richardgraham3658
      @richardgraham3658 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The gas engine is set up the exact same way the dealerships and some service places charge over a hundred bucks an hour and the only pay the technicians less than half of that

  • @dazspurs9899
    @dazspurs9899 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    No point doing this until the whole system has been checked which is a garage job otherwise you may as well thrown that gas can in the bin

    • @richardgraham3658
      @richardgraham3658 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well since he was refilling the entire system he obviously did a pressure check to make sure it was sealed before he put the gas in. Which is what you should do before topping off your freon or completed servicing the AC system
