Because that Superman buck has very subtle muscles definition, the shading makes it better. The only thing, I think, makes it bad, is the wide neck of the superman, because of that Superman's jaw looks stretch out to the sides. I think perdonally, this is the best comic superman proportion, most time Mcf makes the head too big (thus, body doesnt look muscular), or the body is too big for the height (looks stumpy).
@@ToThinkT for real, this is a perfect mold. My only problem with cel shading on this particular version is the contrast in the blue parts are too much.
@@rogerbaker4531 I hate to sway anyone to get this wave. I just think it looks cool and fun, and you could get a badass looking Darkseid for only about $20.
The desire from fans for a proper long hair Superman is much bigger than you can imagine, and Todd knows this. We're going to get 10 different long hair releases in the next few years at least and they will all look better than this version. Todd isn't in the business of NOT putting out multiple versions of Superman or re-releasing the same figure again multiple times so I have to disagree with your stance.
@@bonslurpenstein we can agree to disagree. This might be their last long hair Superman in classic red/blue outfit, ESPECIALLY if there’s a platinum of this one without the pixelated look. This is the Crisis on Infinite Earths Superman mold, which is the best they’ve made so far, so they can’t really find any other body mold better than this one. I have serious doubt they’ll make more long hair Superman in red and blue classic suit. They’ll definitely make one more long hair Superman, but it’ll be the black regeneration suit version. Then after that, no more of that glorious mullet Supes.
I don't agree with your opinion on the head sculpt for Batman, it's the same from the two pack with Bane. I think that's what's holding that two pack. I won't get it just because of the head sculpt alone. Indo respect your opinion and I'm glad you liked it.
@@lfabio.n head is not that bad. I just like the body with cloth cape, the shading, and the color way of this outfit. I do plan on putting a custom head on it. What do you think of the Breyfogle Batman that was up for preorder this morning??
@@brandofigure Also not my cup of tea, the oval yellow shape in the symbol just get a pass from me on Keaton's suit. I also don't like the pointy things on the shoulders. This only got a pass from me on Flashpoint, which is the one I'm really waiting for this year. I still don't have a classic Batman from McFarlane, just the first appearance. About the one that went for pre-order, I don't like the head sculpt, I think I like five comic Batman head sculpts on all McFarlane releases, the movie ones usually are great, but on the comic releases I don't really dig their interpretation. Knightfall and Flashpoint were good exceptions.
@@Ecto_Eric they would look cool on display! Little video game sprites on your shelf. Hopefully they’ll make second wave for this and make Cheetah and Wonder Woman.
This feels like a wave where once it comes out its gonna be wanted then

I wasn't going to buy this waze but I let you talked me into it. Lol. Once I watch the video I say to myself once I get the money I'll buy the waze.👍

Great wave!! Based on a video game so I'm cool with it... The Darksied is a must have...👍💀
@@bonesandthenecrozoo yeah, and it’s really unique. They look a lot like the sprites in the game, especially Batman and Aquaman.
I love the wave

Dude. Your intro was so cool! 😅 I subscribed just for that.
Thanks a lot! I’ll update the animation someday, it’s a little rough for now. Also thanks for the sub!!
I pre ordered Batman & Superman figures myself
