Flying Squirrels prepping for the eclipse?

The news says to stock up before the eclipse, so that must be why the flying squirrels were eating so much. Right?
That feeder started the evening with about 1 pound of food, mostly peanuts but also sunflower seeds, and they have it almost cleaned out.
Or maybe it's cool and starting to rain.
Anyway, it's fun watching these little critters.
